I started using the gold kit from the alchemists cupboard it had everything I needed to get started link www.thealchemistscupboard.co.uk/DIY_Mixing_Starter_Kit_Gold/p1708884_9576441.aspx. After that I bought flavour concentrates from ukflavours, pg & VG from eBay and nic base from go4smoke various bits of hardware from eBay and local Wilkinson's plastic measuring jugs 30p a piece. If and when you buy syringes get 14 gauge blunt needles makes drawing liquids a lot easier hope that's what you were looking for.

Really depends how you want to play with this... A one stop mixing kit will make ordering easy without having to scroll the web. Ordering everything separate will be cheaper and more customizable. Pg and vg can be purchased through classikool on eBay for around £7 per litre Inc delivery. syringes and measuring cups from your local chemist. What sort of flavours do you currently vape?? This will help when suggesting a place to order concentrates. Simple fruit flavours, one shot mixes like red astaire?? Have you got a total budget in mind? I will post up some links to help you once you can give us some direction

Thanks again, how much liquid will this make? It all depends on the ratios of each type of liquid you would be using. Whether you would be mixing a ratio of 50% pg and 50% vg or 70% pg and 30% vg, also what percentage of flavouring you would be using and what mg of nicotine you would be putting in your mix. For example if you were just mixing as an example say 50% pg & 50% vg without any nicotine or flavouring and you had 100ml of pg & 100ml of vg you would get a total of 200ml of liquid = 20 x 10ml bottles. Once you start putting in nicotine & flavouring the amount of pg & vg you'd need would be lowered accordingly by the percentages of the nic & flavour, if you get my drift. There is a mixing calculator on this forum which you can use to work out exactly how much of each type of liquid you would need to make up your mixes to your requirements - nic strength, pg, vg and amount of flavour you want.

And can you recommend some concentrates as I said earlier I like absinthe, citrus etc the misses fruit menthol Cheers everyone been a great help so far Red Astaire from T-Juice would be a good one to start with. That one is ready to use as soon as you've mixed it unlike others that you need to leave steeping for a week or two. I'd suggest 20% flavouring of the Red Astaire, I think that's what most of us use for that one. Patience is a virtue when you start mixing as you always have to wait for the juice to mature, some of them take a number of weeks or even a couple of months to be ready, that's one of the reasons I suggested Red Astaire as you don't need any patience for that one, and it's also bloomin lovely

Make your own menthol concentrate 5g tub of menthol crystals from chemist into a 10ml bottle fill with pg warm 10sec microwave shake. Very strong so add a few drops at time to your mix.
