So CC has been on about getting fish for ages now and we saw this little tank and could not resist it. Only 20l so not massive but big enough for a few fish. Had tropical years ago and now back into it. Letting it settle for a week and then fish next weekend.

And you'll see quite quickly, I'd imagine. So, keep your camera handy, Roscopecotrain, as you'll have a video to post.

Is it not a little small for fish Roscopecotrain? I'm trying to look at this from a fishes perspective, struggling with that TBH, does a fish have a perspective?
Don't realy understand what perspective means.
Another Vodka for me, cheers

We had a lovely salt water setup then we rescued the cat. Fast forward 2 years and after cat eating 3 fish and falling into the tank every opportunity it was a choice. Cat won fish went. Do miss my tank had some great corrals and sea fans etc. Had some funky bright blue prawn type crustation canny remember their name but the cat found them very tasty

reminds me when many years ago we went to this nice garden centre and saw those cute little fishlies - they looked like miniature dolphins - so we asked if a glass bowl - about the size of Ross's would be ok - the guy looked at us and said : nope for them you need a pond - they were sterlings growing up to 2 meters - we lived in a tiny flat at the time

It's a small bowl so small fish are a must. If it's freshwater, and you're water is not too hard, I'd recommend a few of these. They are Cardinal Tetras and look great when they shoal. You can buy them from 1/2 inch or so in size and they'll never grow more than 1 inch in that bowl.
