Depends what devices you have, what kanthal you have and how you like to vape. I like using 0.42 kanthal (about 25.5 awg), 2 x 2.5mm diameter coils of about 9/10 wraps gives me about 0.6ohms. As long as you are building within the capabilities of your device and your batteries... you can concentrate more on the coil coverage than the ohms on a vv/vw device. Obviously if youre on a mech, the resistance is key for the power youre going to get. Hope that helps

Yes ive done 4 now mate Rose V2, Taifun GT, Kayfun & Squape R I just got told to start with 30 Gauge & about 8 wraps or so round a 2mm Drill Bit or Screw Driver I've got 32, 24, 26 Gauge wire aswell which I've not used as I dont know alot about the OHMS I'll get using them I think using 24 Gauge I can get to .5 doing 7 wraps ?

Just make sure your doing it safely. You can use the website I linked earlier - steam engine to make guestimates on coil resistance & also battery drain. You are correct that you will get 0.5 ohm from a single coil with 7 wraps - 2 of these coils will give you a resistance of 0.25 which is getting into the realms of crazy building. If you have all of those wires I would have a good play, I'd probably start with what you know and work from there
