My 2 month old istick has had to go to the ecig doctors today and i had to leave her there while she gets mended :-( , I have been having probs with it for a week or so and it looks like the little rubber washer thingy under the brass conector has been damaged and needs to be replaced, local vaping shop in town are fixing it for a fiver so not too bad. Has anyone else had the same problem with their newish istick? I also have a mini istick coming from china and i am hoping it wont go down the same road.
Jules.

That is pretty good of them to repair it for a fiver! Yeah the way the 510 is located will likely give trouble in the long run, but as far as i know the 30w version is adjustable so the life span should be better.

One of mine has been retired to the back of the vape cupboard for the same reason, the other two are going ok at the moment. I'll get round to fixing it at some point.

I use the bending adaptors (toilet seats ) on ours. They have a spring loaded pin.
Got them from VapeEscape.

Yeah I have the bendy adaptor got it about three weeks ago but it didnt solve the problem, i am going to put it straight on my mini istick when it arrives so hopefully the threads might last a bit longer. Jules. Having read about the thread problem I wasn't intending to get an iStick. Unfortunately Angie saw a pink one in the local B&M. All four get used daily and we used the adaptors from the start and haven't had any problems with the threads. Our problem with them is that they don't fire low enough for our sweeter juices so they get used for fruits & menthols.

I love my Istick and mini, but you got to accept they almost disposable items, you can get them for £12.50 on Aliexpress now, cheaply made and quality suffers, but compare that to a few years ago when DSE 901 automatic batteries cost £7 each, had about 2 hours charge and a 2 week lifespan.
