Hi Everyone, looking forward to getting my grubby mitts on an MVP 3.0 It seems that they've doubled down on the external charging feature of the MVP by including a little built in cable for charging your phone or other devices. (screenshot taken from Mr Todd's excellent review) I've been an MVP user for ages and never once used this feature. Is it just me? Or are you guys constantly using your MVP to charge your phones? And what do you vape with while the phone's charging? Thanks, have a great day! Paul

I've never used the feature, but it was one of the reasons I got the MVP2, a sort of just in case thing when I go camping, although OH has bought one of those portable power packs so less likely to need it now unless both phones go limp at the same time.

I've had 4 MVP's paulymeatballs and never even tried this feature. Mibees coz I would rather use the power to vape than charge a dead phone to talk to somebody I would prefer not to . Ordered v3 from pure mist £44:99, allegedly ships on 4/2/15. Looks like a good workhorse and more versatile than previous versions.

I voted yes, although I am mainly using iStick's, Aspire Sub Ohm and my beloved Tzmax. I found it very useful when I was on holiday to recharge my phone, but use the above devices back here in the UK.

Sadly both my MVP are just sat on my desk.........great little paper weights!! This is the reason I have no intention of becoming involved with the I stick in any shape or form.....when the powercell does give up (and it will) your left with an ornament. Far too much faff to replace and no doubt some will say at the price they are available it don't matter. Maybe I'm just a tight sod, but I can get a VW tube for less from Asia so why would I just follow the current fashion. Give it a few months and maybe there will be an alternative appear.......till then Vamo and Mechs for me........................ End of Rant

Yep charon the amount of re-charges the MVP2 has isn't 300+. I've been through 4 in 18 months, and the last 1 I bought is no longer doing a full days Vaping for me. That said I have abused (and I do mean abused and misused) every MVP2 I have had while at work, and they still fire!!! I treat them as Vape items I will need to replace, just like the first 18650 Batteries I got for Mechs are no longer holding charge for as long as they did and they'll need replacing. I think of Vape equipment like I thought of Lighters when I was still Smoking, they need re-filling regularly, need new Flints and Wheels, and in the case of Zippos Wick needs replacing. Even with all that I STILL used to buy a pack of 8 from the Poundshop in Town every few months! The MVP2 is a fine device, and very hardy, just think of it as a consumable item, just like Lighters are when we still Smoked. I used to spend £30 a Week on Baccy, Lighters and Skins. I could Vape 150ml of quality juice and buy a New MVP@ EVERY MONTH and STILL not spend as much as I did on Smoking!

Was Looking at ones on the FT 'Sale' Pages as Could Be Good for in the Van:- Charge at Home (or Pub!!) & Not Have Wife & Son Worrying 'bout Their Bloody I-Fads' Battery Levels all the Time! Actually....I'm Gonna Stick a Pass-Thru' in the FT Basket.....& Vape Her I-Phone Dry When She's Not Using it... (ie. Asleep!!)

yourgurnard my OH got a good one from seller hanpair on eBay it was £8.99 free postage and supposed to be 10400mah, item number 151445907328. It does work well. He also got one from the local garage.....much smaller and it didn't work, so got a replacement and that doesn't work either. So the ebay one seems to be ok and will be useful for the campervanning hols or camping hols, although we do tend to go EHU so that helps too. I've also put a stereo in the van with a usb socket that charges.....trying to cover all bases mainly so I keep the phone and vape going wherever I am! Just in case

I HAD To Get into Vaping Just So That I Had My Fair Share of Gadgets to Charge!!!!
