Afternoon all,
So this has been discussed a million times but i had a brainwave this morning and want you to give me your opinions.
What if i were put a bottle of liquid in the ultrasonic cleaner but with no water surrounding it.
Would the vibrations alone be enough to promote the mixing without affecting the nicotine?

Watch you don't overheat the transducer. The Google translation of the manual for mine is full of warnings about not using it without water in it. I think it cools the transducer which is probably the single most expensive part.
If your cleaner were spotless and you poured the juice into it, that'd work. But I wouldn't recommend it.

Yh, use the water. Apart from the heat issue these things rely on the water to 'carry' the vibrations.

There have been loads of attempts to speed up steeping using all sorts of whacky ideas. The only one that works is patience

Don't do it Dan! I had the same brain wave, load up the Ultrasonic with 5 30ml bottles and sat there merrily restarting the the cycle. After about 4 cycles went to pick one up and realised the inside of the tank was very hot to touch. I was surprised it didn't burn out. Hope that answers your question.

You can still use the US, just need to use water with it. Warm water is okay as it'll thin the juice some, just comfortably warm would be okay.
If the 300ml bottle is too large just decant some off into smaller bottles, I'm sure you'll have a few empty concentrate bottles by now?

My main aim was to have the bottle receive all of the vibrations but not heat (its thin enough already and don't want the nic to be affected). Also want to have the lid off. I might try sitting a pint glass in the uc, fill up around it, and then put the bottle in the glass. Gave them a mix with the frother last night to help them along, I'm that impatient lol I do have a few bottles but i don't have a lot of space left in the cupboard thus wanting to keep in the original bottles.. All of this because i want to try custards again

I've got 8 30ml mixes that I'm about to attack with the frother. The longer you can keep the custard the better it gets. But all that said, I'm just as impatient as you.

I frothed 5 premades last night as well as a few I'd just mixed. They don't come much more impatient than me
