My Smart 20 was working fine this morning. Filled up the tank , put it back on and now it won't fire. It says protection on the screen. Any ideas? Thanks

Sounds like it's reading a short, take the tank off and have a look at the positive pin.

I think it's been pushed down. I'll have a go at gently lifting it. Thanks

Thanks Yep chances are mark is correct, I must have about 10 (friends vaping) of these i maintain and it's always the postive pin....now when they come back to me a put a rubber oring under to keep it up so they don't come back again.

I'm guessing you have to open it all up to do that letsavit ? No just go round the postive pin (the brass thingy in the center) carefully and lever it up with a screw driver. You can then cut an o ring to size and caresss it under.....hope that makes sense.

would it not be 'no atomiser' if the device pin had sunk rather than 'protection'.
I have a smart 20 that refused to turn on after i charged it, I plugged it back in to the usb again for a moment then unplugged it and it worked again. maybe they have some soft ware issues.

Yes you're right....I would still target the postive pin first....is it central? Right got do some work.....

I took my nautilus off the smart 20 and put it on my istick and it's work no problems. I then put it back on the smart 20 and nothing. So it's definitely the battery.

have you another tank to try on it?
A quick fix ive used on the OH ego/clearo combo is to pull the pin on the coil head out a smidge. Never seen a aspire head so dunno if its possible.

The pin on my nautilus head is floating/adjustable. I've tried both nauti tanks on it and the adapter that came with it and put an Iclear on it. The centre pin on the smart 20 does look low so I'm thinking that might be the problem. I will post back later once I pull it up see if it's sorted. Thanks everyone

Silly question but do you have a charge in the battery?
