After seeing the incredible melting insulator (tm) and watching Marco replacing the Subtank RBA soggy chips insulation with a PEEK one supplied by his vendor, I put in a request to the supplier of mine, VapeClub. This reply came through early this morning :

"Hello Dave,

Kanger have realised that some of the early batches have insulators
that were unfortunately melting due to some more caustic e liquids.
They have subsequently changed the material being used to cope with
those e liquids, and are sending out replacements for anyone who
received the initial batch. These are currently on their way to us
from China and we will be able to send them out to you as soon as they
arrive, which should hopefully be before the end of this week. However
if you do not wish to wait for the replacements we are more than happy
to give you a full refund for the product if you'd like to return it.
Please do let us know how you'd like to proceed with your order.

Hats off to VapeClub for great service. I'm fine with the OCC so the Subtank's getting plenty of service. It'll be good to have a safe, working RBA as well!

I bought mine from Greyhaze i contacted them to see if they were getting replacements in they sent me a message back saying yes but not for about 2 weeks and asked me to contact them again then, that was about a week ago.
If anyone else purchased there now you know to contact them in a week to get a replacement insulator.

Update, the replacement insulators arrived yesterday. I haven't got round to coiling up the RBA yet, but look forward to it.

I got the Large Sub Tank from Cloud stix i think they are called, to be fair to them they acted pretty quick in contacting Kanger and getting the peek insulator out to me.
