Hi all, believe it or not this is my first experience with the lemo tank and i have just purchased one from X&Y but there was no o-ring in the base of the atty just one in the top and in the spares pack there was only one spare, upon placing the spare in the base around the deck and trying to screw the top on it is way off catching the threads so what i am asking please is for an owner of a complete lemo can you tell me if the top and the bottom o-rings are of differing thickness as i believe i have a spare top o-ring and no base o-ring at all in the package. This has come to me today but it leaks and is not air tight without a base o-ring (obviously) but no spare o-ring means this is unusable at present, cheers peeps PS: Out of curiosity i filled it to see if it does need the base o-ring but YEP it does

It's only a stamp no costs Could well have thrown it they do tend to stick to the glass rather than the base when new.

I have to say that this forum never ceases to amaze me, the help and community spirit and awfully kind gestures on this forum is over and above my expectations every time i am on here, Thanks to everyone again, Carl, check that the chimney top has not pushed up too far into the top cap as it is able to move up and down on the black O ring. The chimney needs to be fitted followed by the chimney cap with the black O ring then the glass tank, you then screw the top cap/drip tip part onto the tank. It is possible to unscrew the top from the bottom and leave the chimney cap still inside the topcap, then when screwing the topcap with chimney cap back on to the tank, it can push the chimney top further up the topcap, leaving it a little short. Hope that makes sense.
