Mini Istick arrived & not firing! Help

Just arrived from FT. Display showing 100% which I assume is battery fully charged but nothing seems to work. Not firing or showing anything else. Any suggestions please? ????

Sounds like the infamous 510 issue, strange to happen out of the box though. Do you have any different atomisers to try on it. If all else fails try easy the 510 pin up gently.

5, 3 toggles between vv and vw Usually.

5 clicks and is on as showing 100%.
2 mini natulis tried both working on other devices.

What do you use on the centre pin?

Lyon can use a wooden cocktail stick or if you ensure its turned off first you can use a straightened paperclip or small screwdriver. Be gentle though your only looking to raise a mm or so.

Don't have a cocktail stick. Tried a matchstick too big. Dare not use paperclip as don't think it's turning off. The fire button is loose and wobbles so think maybe its faulty and will go though the hassle of returning!

Fire button was loose on one of my other Isticks and only worked for about 6 weeks.

5 quick clicks to turn off. You should be seeing the voltage or wattage setting in the big font ?

Sorry to hear this, previously mentioned my smart 20 went blank after I had it on charge prior to being ok.
Came back to life when I it plugged back in usb.
Long shot but worth a try.

I have 2 of these wont be buying anymore, xpro 22W was £3 more and seems a better device.

That said I do like the look of siegeli mini let us know what its like when you get it.

One of my isticks' fire button was loose and rattling like hell. After a few uses it would not read the ohms on any atty and would not fire.

My OH unscrewed the top of the istick, raised the pin just a little and stuck some mastic in there to secure the pin in it's newly raised position. There was already mastic in there but not enough to hold the pin up.

It works a treat now, no problems at all.

Before he messed about with it we compared 2 of my other isticks to the faulty one and could see straight away that the pin was far lower down than the good working ones.

I was just going to advise to you to plug in the micro usb, on the istick plugging in the charge cable soft resets the pcb, also before switching on an electronic device i always let the device sit at room temp for 10 mins to get rid of any moisture build up that can sometimes occur due to the temp change from where it has been stored/handled then into your home, good luck

I hate to blow the budget but stuff from FT always has a risk of being DOA (Dead on arrival)
