Hot on the heels of the decidedly underwhelming Kanger KBOX, comes the decidedly underwhelming looking Aspire ESP 30W – Aspire’s first foray into the highly competitive world of box mods. While the Aspire ESP 30W looks a little more sleek and curvy than the Kanger effort, Aspire seems to have made a strange decision in implementing a wheel on the top of the mod to select your chosen wattage. Here’s what Aspire have to say about it on their website: “Power on and off: Click Fire Button 5 times within 2 seconds to lock or unlock the mod. Variable Wattage: Turn the rotary knob at the top of the mod clockwise or counter clockwise to increase or decrease the output wattage from 5W to 30W for vaping needs. Screen display: The Screen will display the battery power, resistance of atomizer, wattage and voltage. When the atomizer is not detected, the Screen will display “Check atomizer”. When the mod is in low power, the Screen will display “Check battery”.” And here are the specs: 1900mAh Capacity New Safer LiPo Battery Variable Wattage 5-30W 0.3ohm Minimum Resistance Pass-through Technology Self-adjusting 510 connections And what comes in the box: More and pics here >>>>

Meh, i'm not too bothered by the dial, it's fugly for sure but the box at least has a screen showing resistance, battery level, and wattage and voltage selected, i have to assume you will have to be able to select more settings than on the Kanger box. If the wheel was a smaller more sleek design and the battery was replaceable i think it would be ok as an entry level box. Would i buy one? No. But i would rather have one than the Kanger box.

Put it next to an iStick 30W though and it's made of fail and regret.

Having a look around RRP seems to be around £35.

looks like a big egrip with a knob you stick a tank on. not so sure about the decor tho. £35 in plain black, could be an addition to a collection for a black box addict.

Having a look around RRP seems to be around £35. Yeah that's not really cheap enough to draw the market from the iStick is it.

Couldn't find any size details on the Aspire website.
I like Aspire stuff so if it's small enough I'll get one.

Is it meant to be a spare remote control for a Scalextric set? Or one of those things you have on the dash of your car that bleeps in the vicinity of Glaxo cameras?

Aspire didn't make the Davide - that was by Anyvape (although they have some links between the companies - much like eleaf and Joyetech I think) Anyway this mod has been seriously hit with the ugly stick - Aspire should stick to making tanks I think

If it wasn't for that dial it could look alright, aspire should def lose the dial and have up down buttons under the fire button. I like the bowed design.
