One of the good things about Windows 8 (stop laughing at the back) is that the taskbar is present on all extended monitors. Win 7 doesn't do it. However there's an app for that! It pops a taskbar onto the secondary monitor including shortcuts to the programs that are on display there. It's pretty cool. Free, too. Here. |

it pees me right off i liked it when you only had it on the main display ive had to run it down the side of mine
i do have 3 monitors and my tv wired to it mind (bf4 is a bad game lol)

One thing thing that I didn't like (win 8.1) was plugging a monitor into the laptop, with the monitor on the lhs and the laptop screen as main display. When you unplug the monitor you no-longer have the right click windows menu in bottom left and the charm bar in the rhs, you have to either plug the monitor back in or reboot
