Ok so the Erikonigin clone has a small tank but it's a thing of beauty!!!

That's not an Astro Jane, just a Kato box mod. Astro's are tube mods.

thh it shouldnt make any diff its down to the batt tube so youll get a kick and a 350 batt in

jane if you have a look on fast teck rather quick you might be able to get hold of the mini conversion kit for the erl which will prob finish near level with the top of your kato

Sorry for late reply...yeah tis 40mm.....with an 18350 battery you should have no probs (takes 18500's normally)...just follow same procedure as gizmo

Thanks Jane, i'll get myself one to try out.

I'm thinking with a different top cap the kick will sit below the atty / 510 & not in the battery tube so still be able to use 18500, i think the kick will need a little packing & will need to fit spare spring to the bottom plate.... easy.

Thanks Jane, i've got an 18650 so i know what i'm suggesting will work, 18500 would have been a nice size for some of my shorter atties.

Sold out on Focal so doesn't matter now anyway, thanks for the info though.

Always thought the 18500 had a design flaw, surely it would have been better to reduce that 40mm dimension so the atty was a little more flush to the top !

Not on the original 18500. The 510 is about 420mm below the top of the mod same as on the 18650 version. I have a clone 18650 but a genuine 18500.
