Hard to compare to a Kayfun as its a totally different deck. With a Kayfun you want the wick nice and short and sitting on the small ledge at the top of the juice channels. People usually find it easiest wicking with cotton and the bend the wicks up so you can screw the chimney base on. Then cut the wick so it has a tiny hang over the chimney, Then tuck it down each side of the coil. |

Cotton touching the juice channels, but not blocking it. Cotton not too loose and not too tight in the wick. Pretty much goes for everything out there  |
