I've been using the 510DCT tank (by Smoktech via Safercigs) but I think I chain vape too much for it to keep up with me.
If i have just refilled the tank and topped up the carto I get lots and lots of lovely taste and vapour but this soon drops off and the wadding looks very dry at the top. Now these cartos only have a single 2mm hole in.
If I either increase the hole size or punch another hole in the opposite side, will this enable the wadding to replenish itself quicker so that the carto can keep up with my incessant vaping?
(i'm using a 70/30 pg/vg mix)

How do you make another hole? Carefully! AAEC (the forum or members) are not responsible for any bodily injury caused by attempting to whack a pointy thing into a round thing especially if doing a typical amateur job of gripping said round thing between toes on floor and then misdirecting the mallet (which was the only thing you could find under the stairs that in anyway resembled a hammer because you couldn't be bothered going upstairs to the tool box for a proper hammer) which was supposed to hit the pointy thing (some old nail also found under the stairs) but in fact hit the toes that were holding the round thing which then disappeared under the couch when you flung your limbs about writhing in agony and discovering how painful the condition of flat feet can be. For the avoidance of doubt, I haven't just done this but I could so easily do if I didn't keep my over-enthusiastic, under-qualified tendencies in check.

nope it's easy (though not as easy as a punch).... Invest in 5 miles of cheap sellotape... Get nail... and hammer or champagne glass (beer tankard anyone?) Tape carto to best dining table as MIL walks in.. leaving a space to punch the nail in Whack nail into carto about 1cm up from the thread (I had Kanger BC's when I used to do this).. Then point hammer at MIL and say 'Can I help you dear?' ----------- the above is for amusement purposes only and in no way represents the views of AAEC or it's affliates. It is said purely in jest and no violence (apart from to the carto) is advocated in any way. Hammers etc should be kept out of reach of children and other impulsive peoples

Brilliant I had visions of me going through the same thing, or squashing the carto in a vice, so I did buy the siam mods punch before I even had a go with a hammer. It seems pretty good.

I have just sussed my tank out. I was getting the same, driping it to fill the carto, fill the tank and after a while the tank didn't refill the carto. I took the tank off the LT, put my finger over the atty end of the carto and sucked about 10 times on the drip tip. Loads of bubbles entered the tank from the hole. This obviously released the vacum that was in the tank and it now works great! Bit like syphoning a fuel tank with a hose, got to get it going for it to flow...

Are you making the holes, then filling the carto, then filling the tank?

I have preholed cartos atm, doesn't really matter which you fill first, as I have done it either way.
