bit dissapointed in the batteries, one of the reasons I went for a LT... Me too, but also for being able to adjust the voltage, don't forget I was running at 3.9v yesterday, wasn't doing it, ramped it up to 4.1v, then it was OK, you can't do that on an ego.

Very true love it that you can turn the 'heat' up, but that just makes the batteries run out even quicker! Was using at 4.1v and it lasted 4 1/2 hours... Just changed the carto again and it works fine. I'm using the pre holed DCC's btw. Must have been a duff carto I recon...

with the duff carto take a long needle and give the filler a little poke around to loosen it... you do get the odd ones now and again that need a good poking... oh er matron a good way to see if the carto is being filled is to pop the drip tip off and take a look at the filler which should be wet

With the LT lasting on the batteries question, I'm getting the same from mine, even though I got some decent AW IMR's and a good charger, they're still only lasting me a few hours vaping. The riva 1100's lasted me a day at least. I don't know why, the only thing I must presume is that the LT is very inefficient with power, but whether that's true or not, I really don't know. AW should give you a good few hours... mine which are 1600mah give over a day or 2-3ml alot of the xxxfire batteries are a bit iffy and not up to the demands of a VV device

I agree with Gordy. Also bear in mind that if you up the voltage on the LT you are going to drain the battery much quicker. The eGo - T batteries are usually regulated at 3.5 volts or less.

Are you sure the carto is making good contact with the LT atty socket? i have to occasionally lever mine up if I swap atties. I can't remember who posted this method originally but this is how I fill mine. Shove the new atty in (pre punched Smok 1.5 ohm from Safercigs) which has a flange. No pre filling. Fill the tank, pop the drip tip on. then without pressing the button draw on the drip tip 7 to 10 times, each time noting there is a small bubble that appears from the atty side hole. This usually empties my 3ml tank by half. Then I just press the button (LT set at 3.7v) and vape away. Works for me.

With an AW IMR I'm only getting 5 hours vaping max on the LT.
Vaping at 4.1v.
Heavy vaping, but the riva 1100 would do that easily.

I understand that but don't forget the Riva batteries kick out 4.2v at the start and then drop down and only have to supply that voltage if they spend most of the time at 3.7v pulling x amps then thats all they have to supply . More V ie consistent 4.1v means x amps remains constant being pulled from the battery also irrespective of what charge is left in the battery

Also remeber that the cicuitry that steps the voltage up will take some power itself, so will not be as efficient the higher you go up in voltage. Like driving a car, the faster you go the more fuel you will use to go the same distance.

The riva lasts alot longer than the LT. If put the LT at 3.7v, it would last alot less than the riva 1100, alot less, I know it puts out a constant voltage, compared to the riva's falling voltage, but it still is the case.
