LT & Tank multi probs...

Not got on with my LT and Puff Daddy tank at all well today

Have used it with no probs for 2 days after the initial fill with Banoffee Pie from Freedom Vape using the DCC that came with the Tank. Worked great, good vape and flavour every time.

This morning I fancied a change and using a fresh DCC, 2ohm, I filled it up with Menthol also from Freedom Vape as I didn't want to mix the flavours up in the DCC's.

Filled the DCC first from the top dripping in around 30 drops. Then filled the tank and left it for 30 mins. Put it on the LT and nothing. Checked it wasn't the LT by putting on a Boge Carto and it Vaped great. Put the tank back on and still nothing, cleaned the bottom of the DCC and the top of the LT with tissue and it worked had a bout 4 vapes and then nothing again. Been faffing about all day with it, working then not, after a few times of it working I then get a burnt taste with no vapour as though the tank was not filling up the carto. Refilled the carto again with round 25 drops and was away again but still playing up with it working then not. Not getting a hit either.

No I have another problem, batteries that came with the LT as well as the Ultrafire batteries I got at the same time are lasting about 5 hours after a 4-5 hour charge. Is this right? I got the LT so I wouldn't be recharging so often. Compared to the eGo-T batteries which last at least a day and a half, I'm not too impressed to be honest.

Please tell me I'm doing something stupid...

is the hole big enough? dont use a tank myself, but i have seen others problems being that the hole in your dcc needs to be larger.
seems like you are using up what you primed with is being used and dries out before being replenished

I did think that Brian, but the other DCC worked fine yesterday and if anything i would say that the Menthol I was tring to use today is more runny so should have wored better.

have you made sure the new one you put on this morning has a hole in it? might be a stupid question, but sometimes the obvious isnt so!

looks like jasons online, try giving him a pm, he might have a logical reason for it
at least bumping the thread will keep it alive until someone with more knowledge turns up

Try filling using the condom method,wait till it pools on top of carto,wait 5 mins then drip 5-10
drops around top of carto,works for me

Wish I didn't but such is life...

Just empted the tank and refilled with yesterdays carto and juice, works fine!

So is it the juice or the carto? Now in the process of emptying the tank again and trying a new carto and a different juice...

With the LT lasting on the batteries question, I'm getting the same from mine, even though I got some decent AW IMR's and a good charger, they're still only lasting me a few hours vaping.

The riva 1100's lasted me a day at least.

I don't know why, the only thing I must presume is that the LT is very inefficient with power, but whether that's true or not, I really don't know.

bit dissapointed in the batteries, one of the reasons I went for a LT...

Although I haven't a carto tank yet, I know there are issues with the hole being punched in too far and the metal expanded into the wadding which stops the juice getting in.

So I'm guessing that it's the carto and maybe your hole punching which is the problem, not the juice.
