The campsite is very vape friendly and full of vaping friends, I didn't leave the site last year and doubt I will this year.

I think the plan was to hit the town on Saturday night, but I'm less inclined to now what with there being music and all. But I'll go along with whatever the majority decided.

There was a plan to hit the town Sat night last year but at least a dozen of use has a great time at the campsite, Bluefish & Lesley bought enough sandwiches to go round, djs donated a couple of boxes of Fosters, dagl had various sprits & I had a few chicken pieces and marsh mellows for the bbq in addition to everybodies own drinks stash. Save your money for the vape gear, the camp site is where it's at. But obviously keeping the noise down after 10 PM.

Last year I planned on staying on site. I know its 'only 10 minutes to town' but I'm hit and miss on how my back behaves (especially after camping/sleeping on ground) there are times I cant so I pack to last the weekend in campsite. Have pot noodles and cuppa soups (i'll be hitting our social tents urn for boiling water )

BBQ on Friday means a hot hearty meal, and I bring sandwiches and pasta so they will last a day or so ... with the additional weight I carry I'd survive a month without food and I found liquid lunches and tea kept me (and everyone else) in good spirits I've packed peanuts and flapjacks chrisps and biccies for snacks

I think the social tent is a genius idea and a tenner very well spent! If Jon= VapingBad hadn't have fashioned us a gazebo from his tent spares, with additional chairs, tables, night lights, etc last year could have been a grim few days as the weather was very changeable. As it was it ended up a lively sheltered comfy well lit AAEC gathering.

I'm really curious to what Jon brought as his massive 6 man tent must have been an Aladdin's cave!

Sorted about half my kit, fewer chairs than last year, I don't know where they go, but am sure it's a teenager that takes them there. @spikeyfridge I got the electric coolbox out it is a 30 ltr (black & grey one on the lhs in the photo), I have plugged it in and it seems to work so I will bring it for the pavilion if you want, but advise plugging it in Friday afternoon as they take a good while to get cold.

Just to plug it in and leave it with what milk you brought so it fresh in the AM & not to use or it will take an hour or two for it to get cold Saturday AM.

Of course.
I meant marquee use generally. I'll be farting about in there from about 2pm getting stuff unpacked and set up, then again from 8am sat to turn water heater on and make sure its all ready.
It's a relief to borrow it. I don't mind admitting I was flapping about keeping milk fresh

I'm still packing and planning for vapefest. I'm also getting elder daughter sorted for uni so I'm gathering stuff for both events

I've a spare seat and stool I'll bring along and am hoping to get a cooler box from my mum - cos Jon's idea of filling it with ice AND it doubling as a seat was genius - having ice on hand is excellent, it lasted ages too. You can always bung some extra milk in it Sarah

Guys guys!! I'm flapping here! I've asked so many people to bring milk, I don't know how much is coming! I seriously have no room to bring any. In fact I'm borrowing dagl s car space
