AAEC VIP Marquee for members and guests only

I knew I'd forgotten something...

If anyone is deliberating on coming along last minute but if put off camping as they don't have a tent I have TWO double skinned 2 man tents and one is a kit with pair of ground-mats and sleeping bags so I am more than happy to bring along and lend. I also have a couple more sleeping bags (only cheap sleepover ones which should suffice in summer)

I can even help set the tents up now I've had lessons from aaron but let me know before Friday as I wont pack unless a member has requested

No but thank you! Really, everything is done now. Bring some milk or biscuits (better for hot car) instead. Or just come along and make sure you pop in marquee to say hello and meet everyone and put your feet up etc etc.
I'll be in there from 8am Saturday getting stuff ready and generally getting under my own feet!!!

I do have lots of camping stuff but it's not my favourite thing in the world - usually do it under duress as it's the only way I can attend Glasto

Plus, the best tent we have is a big 'un - the thought of setting it up (and even worse, taking it down ) without help is far to much to contemplate. And there's the whole weather forecast thing - Nope, it'll be a cheap hotel if I do come!!


EDIT - well after realising there are no cheap hotels left in Shrewsbury over vapefest (e.g Premier Inn available only on Friday for £109 , Saturday fully booked) I thought I'd see if I could get somewhere a bit further out. That's when I looked at the map and realised that Shrewsbury is nowhere near where my (apparently rubbish) sense of geography first thought - i.e somewhere around Worcester!!!
It's actually about 320 miles from me. So sadly I won't be going after all

Hope you all have a brilliant time I'm off to visit me bro in Somerset instead for a mini vape fest

You don't happen to have a man/woman tent knocking about in your collection do you Pepperty ?............I think I'd feel more comfortable with one of those............................

I'd just like to take this opportunity to make a few points. Nothing major
Beverages are help yourself, please make sure water heater if full and hot, be careful! I've got a kettle as back up too.
No smoking in marquee but vaping is permitted
There is a book of condolence for deesigner, who very sadly passed away earlier this year, for members to fill in.
Any niggles, grumbles and complaints about anything marquee related, come find me, I'll do my best to sort it out. Don't forget, I'm winging it so it's new to me too.

Hi peeps, I shall be bringing several atty`s and mods (some brand new `unused`) to sell at the VF,hope this will be OK.

2 off Velocity RDA (clone), both including BF pins. (1 one brand new).

1 off Zenith V2.5 RDA(clone) with BF pin.(brand new)

1 off Owl/Terminator RDA.

1 off Yosen SX300 in Blue. 50W mod.

1 off Svapiamo `wooden` mech squonker fitted with 22mm atty cup (only 3 weeks old hardly used).

Someone is going to get a `bargain`.

I shall be hovering around the "Dee`s" condolences book ,in the marquee., hoping members will come and sign it.

I'll bring a couple of things for the PIF box and I'm also looking for a "dripper expert" who can show me how to get the best out of my drippers as to date I've not had a great deal of success so not sure where I'm going wrong. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Also, is it too early to ask... "are we nearly there yet?"
