Vapers in Power political party in the 2015 General Election

I think it is tough enough getting the cash for one candidate, nothing to stop vapers going to meetings and putting our case

The Greens were a single issue party once, some would argue that UKIP are still. It's a very good idea for vapers to influence their candidates - please do, I know I will be trying to.

After going on five vaping demos now, and seeing countless petitions wither, I think we just have to realise that just because there's 2.1M vapers doesn't mean that there's 2.1M people bothered enough to do something about it.

Vapers In Power is an attempt to get a few people counting for a lot - it might not work, but its not a big ask, and its worth a chance!

Yes- you are spot on, imho!    We have been working hard  on an idea to help people to put pressure onto candidates in every constituency - to make vaping into an election issue.

The simple answer is the two ideas aren't mutually exclusive and we have been working on both ideas for some time, but feel that it is important that we field at least one candidate for the General Election.

Do we have any idea what vote blaze will need to retain the deposit? Not from the point of view of the cash, but from the proportion of the vote and how viable it could be for future Welsh/Scottish elections?

It is 5% of the vote required to retain it. I'm not sure if that would hold true for the Welsh and Scottish elections though.
