Menthol question

If I want to make a fairly strong 50 ml menthol pg soloution how many grams of menthol would I need?  I intend to mix it with other flavours sparingly but want a decent enough soloution in the first place

2. Top up the bottle with PG and shake
3. To help dissolve the crystals, put in the microwave for just a sec or two to warm the liquid
4. Shake, shake, and that’s it, you have menthol concentrate. Ready to use, no need to steep this concentrate

The crystals are very strong and small…. Be careful, and wipe down any surfaces after preparation.

Lable the bottle (but I think you would know what it was just by smelling it)



Use vary sparingly until you understand how strong this concentrate is…. If not strong enough, you can always add some more crystals.

Can Vouch For the Method Above!
Tried it Last Week 'cos I Had a Stinking Cold. Less Than Half of the 5g. Tub in Approx 5ml. of PG Gave Me a VERY Strong Concentrate With Which I Made a VERY Strong Liquid & Dripped it...

I used 5g in 50ml PG, then used that to mix at 10%.

So using a 50 ml bottle adding crystals halfway up filling with pg might be a tad to much? Didn't seem enough to me has a tiny kick to but them I like a really strong menthol oh and ps don't add menthol crystals to a bath like I did a few years ago when testing the strength of a bath bomb, I couldn't stop shivering for hours afterwards,

What percentage did you end up putting in final product wooky just made a black cherry menthol and vanilla ice up and used 5% in the recipe out if my 50ml base is that to much only time will tell

It looks like wooky used 6% this time clairea (he says that he made 50ml of eliquid and used 3ml of the solution) ... last time he used 5ml which would be 10%

I've just tested my black cherry and menthol made yesterday, it's not strong enough on the menthol so i think my menthol base is to weak going to add more chipc to the menthol base but will the menthol develop over time?

Menthol is one of those flavours that is pretty much 'good to go' immediately clairea so I don't think that it will taste stronger over time.

You might also want to increase use from your 5% in your cherry menthol, if you are looking for a stronger menthol. At 6% wooky commented that his wasn't an "in your face" menthol.

I,m really struggling to get my menthol strong enough to give me that icy blast feeling might have to make a 10 ml soloution and keep on adding menthol until I have cracked it,or do I just up the menthol amount in my juice I have tried it at 5% and 6% it's no where near maybe I need to put in 10% and flavour at 15%
So how do I chang a 30 ml eliquid I have a 50 ml nicotine base I made up and a approx 40 ml left of on nicotine menthol base
So would my best bet be take my original cherry menthol up to 50 ml  and add in base comprised of 15% cherry and 14% menthol and nic base to make menthol 10%

Or just pop some extra menthol crystals into what you've currently mixed and let them dissolve, if it's not a high VG mix . . . remembering next time to add your Menthol concentrate at a higher ratio for your tastes.
