Disappointed with my Lemo Drop

Well not with the Lemo Drop it looks very nice indeed.  More so with my Hana Modz 40.  The Lemo won't fit, and it's the only mod I have that will take a sub ohm coil.  Having lovingly dismantled the Lemo and rebuilt it with the pre fitted coil, juiced it up, screwed it on the Hana, expecting billows of cloud and oodles of flavour, I got a no atomizer message.  Thinking I hadn't built it properly I took it all apart and rebuilt it and screwed it on again.  The same message.  Then I realised that the Lemo is just too wide to sit in the recessed part on the Hana, so it won't connect.  And I'm still waiting for the Smart 30 to be shipped from SlowTech.  Bugger I was looking forward to trying this.

I use my Lemo's on Hana boxes all the time.
I would say the problem is the centre pin on your Hana 510 not the tank or the well on the box.
That thing can easily get pushed in and you'll end up with check atomizer messages.
Try lifting the centre pin a little with a small screwdriver or something, you don't have to pull it up hard or anything just a little nudge should fix it.

If you look on the bottom of the Lemo the 510 screw can be adjusted, unscrew it counter-clockwise till it sits proud by a mm or 2, attach to your Hana again and if it still doesn't fire remove and adjust half a turn at a time till it does. This should sort it for you.

Be aware though that if you unscrew it too far then it will detach from the inner metal connector and you'll have to reassemble the base    (if that should happen just make sure that the insulator is in place when you're putting it back together)

Good suggestion Get Off My Cloud, but the centre pin won't budge. Maybe been pushed in for too long. Oh well I will have to put it away till the Smart 30 deigns to make an arrival.  Next I will try Di's suggestion.  Thanks for your help.

Sounds like your 510 pin is all gunked up i would try giving it a good clean with a cotton bud and some vodka or something similar.

It's not the mod, it works fine with my Subohm Mini, but that obviously reaches further into the recess. I'm not sure if the Hana has a spring pin in the connector. But it refuses to budge. Just tried Di's suggestion but I need to go to my shed and get a meatier screwdriver. The dinky one supplied doesn't give me enough grip.

Thank you Di. Your tip did the trick. Now blasting out on my Hana. Not disappointed now. Well I am, but only because I can't have both atty's going at the same time. One has custard and the other lime. I think with the sub ohm coils the custard tastes better at the higher watts than does the lime. But the lime tastes good on the lower watt GS Air. I need to do some more juice experimenting now. But not menthol or aniseed flavours as I have never liked menthol cigs and don't like it in e juice.

I never liked menthol fags either but I made the good lady some blueberry menthol to try.
She didnt like it (no surprises) so rather than throw it away Ive been really enjoying it in the spheroid before lights out.

I have a bottle of Bluberry Buzz by Indigo but I quite like blueberry, but not this as it has too much anise in there. Not sure what I can do with it, but may put it in a box to give away at Vapefest.

Yay Di and Bobsbeer I have to admit, the inconsistency in length/depth between threads on devices and tanks is a constant source of frustration, and sometimes matching them to work together can be a real PITA... for example, I just got a loo-seat for istick, and (probably) because the isticks are clones the 510 threads are too shallow to fit the loo-seat on correctly

I've had issues with the 510 Pin on my Lemo Drop screwing itself in as I screw it on to a MOD and if I wipe the 510 clean as well. It's worth checking it regularly!

With other atties I haven't had a problem with my Smart 20 and loo seat. So far it has worked flawlessly with a Nautilus Mini, GS 16S and GS Air. But the Smart 20 will only work on coils above 1 ohm, so will not work with the Kanger Subohm tanks or my new Lemo Drop. But in fairness it wasn't designed to work with the sub ohm atties. The 30 watt is, but Slowtech are being slow in shipping that, so I shouldn't complain. Now having figured out how to fit tot to my Hana clone it works great. The loo seat I have is spring loaded so should be fine for most atties. I did try fitting the loo seat to the Hana, but it was too shallow to fit properly.
