I have tried a few of these pod things and none have weaned me off my tank and mod vapes. The same goes for the OH. She likes her Joytech AIO's and the pod things just haven't cut it. I guess they may be okay if you need to stuff it in a pocket or small handbag on a night out, as an emergency vape, but as a regular vape they don't quite cut it.

That was published nearly a year ago. Still good news, but old.

We have to have some vices in our lives or it would be boring. While I may not rush to grab the vape in a morning I do rush for coffee. And later . At least I don't need to stand outside in the pub.

Just don't rush it Chrissie. 1% at a time and you will get there. Good luck.

The nic free bit was actually easy as I slowly weaned myself off nic by reducing slowly over the the previous 4 years. I went down to 0.1% by the end and decided to go to zero and see how it went. I think it was more psychological than anything else by then. I would go months between drops so I guess my body became used to the reduction. I did start at 30% and after about 4 months started reducing. I had planned on it taking two years, but thought what the heck why rush.
I usually don't vape when at work now so leave my unit in the car and have a toot to and from work. I still like to vape but at least I know I'm not addicted.

Well done on keeping costs down. I think the problem is that I get an email from Fasttech every day.

How time flies. I just realised that I have been vaping for 5 years and nearly 1 year nicotine free. All I can say is thanks you vaping crowd for the encouragement we give each other each day. Not a single fag has been smoked in 5 years, although I must admit to a drag of a friends spliff. I nearly chocked. So I won't try that again in a hurry. Even after all this time I still like the smell of tobacco smoke, but it doesn't tempt me to go back there. I just need to stop buying new vaping stuff. Thanks everyone.

Looks like a new pod type vape is coming out. I spotted it on POTV and looks like it's about to hit the streets. SWIS IPHA They claim it's the first stainless steel pod system in the world. Presumably all the others are plastic, which from my experience they do tend to be. I have a few of these and they are all plastic, so it will be interesting to get my hands on this one. It does look like a nice unit to pop in a pocket, but the tank is not huge at 0.7ml so if you are a heavy vaper it won't last long. Unlike many of the pods I have this one allows for different resistance from 1.4 to 2.5 ohm with a constant 5.5w output, so there is a bit of variability to suit different juices. There is more on their website. Go to www.iphavape.com/product/detail.html?id=2

This seems to be new, but looks good. Wondered if anyone has seen one? The IJOY Diamond VPC Starter Kit appears to be a compact kit consisting of a Diamond box MOD and a VPC Unipod cartridge. It has an inbuilt 1400mAh battery, which doesn't bother me too much as reliability has overcome the early inbuilt battery mods, but 1400mAh could be better. The IJOY Diamond goes from 5w to 45W max output with POWER/Voltage modes. The voltage mode provides 2.5V-3.8V adjustable voltage for MTL; while the POWER mode adopts 5W-45W adjustable wattage. I still haven't figured out the difference, so always just use wattage. It has 2ml juice capacity and side refill design. The 510 thread of Unipod means it can be swapped to use with most box MODs. It looks like a decent starter if not everyday/work vape. I do like the different colours too and the shape looks fairly comfortable to hold.

I quite like AIO's mainly for their simplicity and I spotted this one on a few different sites which looks good. The new OBS Draco
It seems to come in two variants, a TPD 2ml tank and a more usable 3.5ml tank, both included in the kit. I do like the wider mouthpiece as well on these newer atty's. Features include: Size: 24 x 87mm Built-in 3000mAh battery with 80W max output Ergonomic pen-style kit with multiple protections Comfortable fire button with LED battery indicator light Innovative M1 mesh and Draco quadruple coil for great flavor Easy top refill and adjustable bottom airflow design This looks like a decent take to work setup or a decent starter kit.

I certainly did, and thanks Pepperty. It was rather a boozy affair.

Many thanks. It was a good one as we were at our home brew festival in Shropshire. Only now feeling human again. Lol
