It looks a lot like the other mod they brought out with the EVOLVE DNA40 chip in it. This may be just a cheaper version.

Does look similar. I'm looking for something well made and sturdy. Was hoping someone here may have had experience of one

The 40 looks well made everything held in with screws in a cradle, rather than hot glue. Would presume this to be the same. I was planning on steering clear of hooky DNAs but this 1 with step down appears to be new so Im curious about it now.

It's certainly caught my eye, not keen on the smok m65 and the sigelei mini seems to have thread issues. Strange that I can't find any reviews on this one though

Nothing on their thread. I'm assuming this device hasn't been out long by the lack of info on it. I like the look of it but hoping to find a review or 2 before I buy

The Hcigar HB DNA40 is a very nice bit of kit for the price (not forgetting the group buy here making it cheaper still). I bought one and am very chuffed with it. Build quality is excellent, apart from the silly smoked perspex that obscures the OLED until you fire it. Loving the fire button placement & operation, it's easy to use with either thumb. The H38 doesn't look like a DNA40 clone (imagine Evolv would terminate their contract immediately if they'd tried that, no more HB DNA40s then), no temp control, but a nice looking device, and the box & button look HBDNA40-styled.
