Anne, you are going from analog to digital tv too? We did that a couple of years ago and while the signals on the channels are sharp and clear, I can't get all of the channels that I used to get, without putting up an outdoor antenna and I'm not about to do that. Thank goodness that I have a cable connection on the big tv in the living room. The entire UK has had digital coverage since 2008 and some areas from 2006. This is in addition to analogue. The switchover in 2012 is when they are completely turning off the analogue signal and using the superior DVB-T 8k signals. This will mean many old freeview set top boxes will no longer work..

if you have a pc in another room and a normal sky subscription..put sky go on it and you can watch your sky channels for free with no need for multiroom subscription you just need an unlimited broadband package..you can have it on up to 2 devices and if your pc has a decent video card and can hook it up to a tv...happy days
