I'm the same as Foxy, if using atomisers, I just blow out the primer. I'm also fairly certain it isn't an "oil" but just either plain PG or VG.

Martin, re the vapour lingering, try out a similar experiment that I did with a non smoking friend of mine. I asked if I could vape in her car on a longish journey. She said yes & it was her idea to keep the windows closed as she wanted to see what would happen. The vapour did linger for a while but dispersed way before her little car fogged up. I asked her what she could smell & her reply was just a slight pleasant pop corn whiff - I was vaping a tobacco flavour.

I always used to smoke in the fresh which I do not have to do now, which is great!
