Ok so I am starting to feel a bit old for a newbie but I feel like this question may be better off here I've been playing around with different carto's, tanks etc and finally got to partially master the CE2 My major problem has been with leaking, no matter what I've used I always seem to end up with a pool around my battery, I never fill to the top and always screw my cartos so that the air holes line up with batts. What am I doing wrong? Do you think it could be my batts ??? Not really sure of the voltage etc but they are from the Vgo kit and I presume a variation of the ego style my juice has always been a 50/50 pg/vg so wouldn't have thought it over thin, but everything leaks, tanks, boges, LR carto's and CE2's! Any suggestions as to what next ???

Any suggestions as to what next ??? I am buying these to try in the HC Group buy MrsM.. www.healthcabin.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=7936Only £10 and change for 5 pc I am given to understand that they are very good and I think they won't leak because they have wadding and good for about 40 fills so long as you keep them wet. I also think that many clearomisers will leak if you let the fluid run too low exposing the air holes and all of them have condensation problems. I think I saw a conical center straw design which may minimize this by design. I can't recall the name but I am sure someone will point you in the right direction. So always keep them half full as a minimum and this may get rid of your problems.

It is normal to get a small amount of liquid get through to the battery connector. Even on my Provari, I regularly clean the connector to remove any liquid. Most cartos etc have a hole in the connector to allow air through when you take a draw. Condensation and excess liquid can come out of there into the battery. Normally it's only a small amount that can build up over time.
If I draw too hard on an atty it can flood and gurgle a bit. Used to get it a lot on the 510 tank atomizers. The airway would fill up with liquid. Same can happen with the Buds. Cartos will leak as well if you get liquid into the airway when filling. It also happens if they are over filled. Sometimes I fill mine until a drop comes out of the battery connector. Then I give them a quick blow through onto some tissue to clear the airway.
Daz at Safercigs has a great offer on at the moment on some dcc tanks. These are really good. I've been using one from Totally Wicked now for over a week. It is still performing exactly the same as when I bought it. No drop off at all and not one leak.
Just give the battery connector a clean with some tissue every now and then. Especially before putting it on charge. Otherwise liquid could get into the charger.

Cheers guys. At least I feel that the leakage is normal, I was so worried that I was filling wrong! Steve, I am so trying to avoid that tank from you mentioned it the other day lol but am thinking about it. I think I am probably too anal about how it will look on my small batts Was thinking whether to try some Got Vapes stuff like the fluxomizers or vision deluxe, but dont want to end up having to order abroad every month! Maccafan, that looks like a serious piece of kit!! Maybe I need to get over the need to see my juice lol

Maybe I need to get over the need to see my juice lol Tanks also have wadding MrsM..The wadded carts are just surrounded by a clear tank which drip feeds the wadding on demand through the feed holes punched on the sides and if they leak, you'll have bigger puddle to contend with... I don't know what size battery you have MrsM but the echomizer I linked to has the cone built in so it's not all that big when assembled. I wouldn;t recommend them for anything less than a 650 mAH though..

Jason has the echomizers on his site. He gave me a handful of them at the last Vapefest and they worked really well. Same idea as the other cartomizers though, just shaped like a cone.
Just tried one on a VGO kit battery and it worked fine.

Des I have been watching to see when Safercigs Imist comes back in for days and will be one of the first to hit "cart" Vision ego looks nice too and even some of their other ranges looks promising. Would you guys feel it is a risk when ordering parts abroad, I mean order + like = long term commitment abroad + possible delays and customs lol Also was looking at the 3.5ml carto tank from Safercigs, that seems to have disappeared off the site, maybe I was looking too long! So, so far the list stands at: Echomiser Imist Vision ego stardust or Lil Mama tank FluXomizer Deluxe Vision Deux Hmmm, is there nothing similar in the Uk to the FluXomizer for instant the Vision ego stardust is a little like the lil Mama tank. Or is it just a glorified new version CE2?

Or is it just a glorified new version CE2? Gotvapes are a great supplier $5 flat shipping cost with goods getting here in about 4 or 5 days! Just keep below the customs threshold and you'll be fine. I have tried Fluxomisers, smokeymisers, Ce2 & 3's in fact all sorts! and I am now happy with 3 things, Kangers, my DCT tank and the Imist. Though I am sorely tempted with the Vision Sapphire Stardust For looks on a Riva/Ego I think the Imist and the Vision Sapphire stardust cannot be beaten for small tank type cartomisers. The Stardust has had very good reviews and you can even re-wick and rewire it pretty easily, but at it's cost if you had 3 or 4 weeks out of it you're not far off normal cartomiser costs. MY PRETTY :
