Youngests laptop won't turn on, won't charge. To fix it, I'd have to unscrew back, disconnect wires then take battery out. Been in touch with seller on eBay. They are saying its only got a 6 month warranty where on the page of original sale its 12 months. Anyway its only 5 months old, no abuse that I know of. Was working fine last night!
Got a number to ring tomorrow and hopefully get it sorted.

If it's through a business seller and not a private seller item has to be fit for purpose, who is it made by contact them and send it to them to be repaired under warranty all you need is a copy of paypal receipt showing when bought,

Got all that, thankfully. Took me all morning to find it! Its actually Argos outlet on eBay so should be straightforward. Of course I had to get the one with the built in battery which you have to take the whole thing apart to get to it! So not touching it which is my sensible option!

Yodel eeeeeks picked it up today so hopefully get it back end of next week, i took down serial number and eldest took lots of pics re condition.

Quick update.
Laptop repaired with replaced motherboard. No cost to me. Youngest ecstatic. Pain free sort out for me!
