Well basically 24hrs to the minute of me ordering my Riva postman delivered it, typical today was one when we were last on his round, some days he is here around 7am but today has to be 2.15pm.
Got to admit its a bit of a culture shock seeing it compared to my Gamucci - size wise and weight wise but still oh how these 8 hrs till I can try it are dragging, will be nearly 11pm before I can, day seems endless.
Gosh so many other places to buy e-liquid from so far I have only bought from
Safercigs; freedomvape ( cherrybandy, oh cannot wait for it to arrive)and vapeescape.

You can go with it straight away, the batterys will have a factory charge on them so you can start. Not waiting the 8 hours won't do your batterys any harm *disclaimer incase im wrong and gonna get sued, but it was fine for mine lol* Plug one in to charge and get started on the other

Wow, wow, wow................with the Gamucci I have to suck really hard to get a hit, but with the Riva the 4 secs they advise holding the button down is almost, almost to much. Now I am using 18mg juice and boy the hit, head has I admit gone a bit wheeeeeeee ( you know the way you feel when you smoked and you took a drag of that cig you had been dying for and oh boy it was so good - this feels exact same, very, very good) so got to take a break. I think that past two weeks using the same cartomisors over and over they have stopped preforming as well as they should and so my nicotine hit has been slowly cut down.
So rather than get used to the higher level I wonder should I buy some PG on its own to dilute my juices or should I just buy lower strength of the same and mix them, so resulting level will not be as low as the lower one but not as high as the 18.....
Got to admit I love the hit at the back of the throat - am using cherry pipe at moment from Grizwalds pick and miss ( chose that as had not found the cherry brandy yet) but oh its scrumptious.
One thing I don't know which cartomisor I am using as I filled one of each (SR and LR) then put them in box with others and they both look exactly alike, so will have to fill another of each with something else to see which I prefer ( well good excuse to try my new e-juices)
So now I can see how vaping is different from smoking, and boy I like it. This auld gal is I would say a total convert and smoking urg, how did I ever do it.
Jason did put a drip tip in my package but at moment am not using it as I actually like the cartomiser getting warm - most likely as with the Gamucci it had to get really warm to get a good hit.
I am still glad I bought the Gamucci for me it was the perfect e-cig to start wth, as it gave me the full experience of smoking, I did try a disposable I bought in Tescos and that didn't seem the same at all. The hit from the regular cartomisors is good, I still have about 24 unused so will keep them aside for anytime I suddenly get the urge to have a real smoke, as to me there basically is no difference using the Gamucci with them.
If anyone had said to me 3 weeks ago you will not only have given up cigarettes but be totally into vaping I would have laughed and said no way, my e-cig is at most just to help me cut down. I loved smoking, every part of it, and now I love vaping just as much, it all seems to have happened so quickly but I know deep down I will never smoke again so long as I have a Gamucci for any bad days ahead - I still have a couple of disposables as well that I will keep for back up so even if powercuts I have something to use and not tempted to go back to analogues.
Oh yes can anyone tell me if you can charge the riva or any e-cig up in the car - I have a usb charger socket that plugs into cigarette lighter I usually use to charge up mp3 player on long journeys, sadly not enough power to charge blackberry up as well, so not sure if e-cig would get enough power from it. Also have one of those car charger things I keep in case of power cuts and it has a usb socket as well.
Right had put 12 drops into the cartomisor and sadly they are gone, so will try the other one i filled and see what vapour is like, first one I used didn't have to much. On my own I don't mind a lot of vapour but when out and about would rather have less.
Oh such fun I am having......yes a total convert, and if I fall by the way side you all have the right to jump on me.......

So pleased to hear you are loving the Riva Yes, you can charge it via a USB adapter that plugs into a ciggie car lighter socket. But it will depend on the output of the adapter you have as to how long it will take to charge. You need to put more than 12 drops in your cartomisers to begin with. It's best to fill them initially using what is known as the condom method -

As your catomisers dry up just add about 10 drops or so, no need to wait for it to soak in like the first fill, we call it "topping off" then carry on with the same cartomiser. I have a huge grin on my face here typing this and reading your post!

You must have tough lips if you like toking on the end of a metal cartomiser You should find that with the LR compared to the SR cartomiser you will get a warmer vape and a bigger hit.

From Jason at VapeEscape Anne, he dispatched it within the hour though, definitely a royal mail thing, not the Vendor... In fact, thanks heavens for great vendors like Jason, and LibertyFlights dispatching straight away, as I'd have to wait even longer. I know other retailers that don't despatch same day, That Jungle branded book store for instance, or the music shop with the dog and record player as it's logo

That's strange, I always get orders from Jason the next day. It could be the snow that's slowing RM down.
