Ohhhhh what a mindfield yet again lol that makes sense Perpy as my 50/50 mix was slightly sweet, where as my 60/40 is a little sharp...ok maybe I should let it sit for a while lol, I think I have been put off with all the wicking problems on the forums when the mix is too high in VG lol

So generally, so far from the responses there are a few who go for PG heavy juices but it looks as thought the majority are VG heavy....hmmmmmm...

I think mine is a 40/60 mix, I got some juice from freedomvape with this mix and found that I liked it, its just right for me So you are heavier on the VG and less on the PG Yes Mrsmac, its a nice blend with the right balance of sweetness, its not too sweet, for instance, with the grape juice I got from Kev, to me its nice and fruity, not too sweet but with a hint of fizziness. Ordered some from Paradise Vape on Tuesday, its 50/50 so it will be interesting to find out what those juices are like

I find 70 pg 30 vg works best for me, it is runny enough to wick well and that 30% VG give me the thickness of vapour that I like.

If I have the choice I'll ususally go for a 50/50 or slightly higher on the vg, I like as much vapor as possible while still being able to wick. If I don't have the choice I'm happy with most mixes as long as I like the flavour

I have used PG/VG 50/50, 60/40 and 70/30 and 100/0.. I am about to get some 75/25 in the HC group buy.
I like the 70/30 in the morning and 60/40 or 50/50 towards the end of the day..It's more about throat hit in the mornings and more about the essence and aroma in the evening for me.

Now I like that way of breaking it down, different mixes for different times in the day, do you ever get confused with what you are vaping at what time ???

That's why I thought this thread to gather some info on how you all make your choices. Interesting about your reactions Leftfield, so do you vape 100% VG? And how is the wicking? 100% vg is the base, besides nicotine. When I mix my own liquids I strive for 20% flavouring; you need more flavouring in vg I find. I have to use nicotine in vg base then cut it with vg because I only need about 6mg of nicotine, then ramp it up with a lot of flavouring I have to make allowances for wicking. I originally used ego-T atomisers, after I had the 510 I first used with atomisers that is. I could only take 10 puffs on the ego-T per 10 - 20 minutes and had to leave it to wick. I always took a pair with me so I could cycle them and it was ok, just not ideal. Now I use CE2s and I always cut the cup seal so wicking is never a problem. I'm stuck with CE2s as nothing else will keep up with wicking (even cartomisers) but I really don't mind it because they're very sturdy, very clean taste and last months at a time. I can't use dual coils because they underwick terribly and I hate to have to cut juice with water or pga and have to compensate with more flavouring. Just not worth the effort if I can just use a CE2. There has been a good few inventions that I know I just can't use because they would never wick vg well. It's a little annoying but as long as there's something that works it's all good to me I really prefer the fullness and smoothness of vg as it is. Even if I didn't react to pg I think I would prefer a higher vg ratio anyway. The only trouble I ever have is when it comes to stealth vaping as all vg tends to make huge clouds of vapour on any device. You have to hold your breath a lot longer or have something like a napkin to hand to breathe through as it's near impossible to have 0 vapour come out no matter how long you can hold your breath with all vg.

Leftfield, do you use a particular ce2 as there are so many versions out there. I got one to work eventually but after a while I could taste the smokey tube, strange I know! It didn't taste of plastic. I done the removal of center plug, pulled up the filling plug, pulled up the wick...what on earth is cutting the cup seal ???
I'm gonna have such fun playing around with quantities. Funny enough I brought a new tank to try a 510-t from LF and although the new mix juice tasted sharp in a carto, it actually has great flavour in the tank!
