Not that bad, but having to unblock the outside drain is never pleasant, knocked a hole through the blockage with some old hose pipe then attacked it with the jet washer Anyone for a fat burg burger?

Is there no end to your talents? I've got to bodge up a drain cover. Sick of unblocking it. I always think these things up in the rain then forget!

That should have been your 6000th post, VapingBad! I do feel for you though, never a nice job, unless you're into that sort of thing or are paid to do it.

Crikey! Seems a bit harsh. Court costs on top too?

Yep and that's from my own experience with it. The law is quite clear that council tax must be paid by the due date period. Late payments are not acceptable and will incur immediate court action following 2 late payments in any 12 month period without notice. Google it and see for yourself! At the end of the day council tax is a priority debt and if you don't pay on time then you will be paying the entire years balance in full with court costs on top even if your on benefits then they will take the money from your benefits or bailiffs with high court warrants can enter your home and remove goods to cover the debt!

There is no mention of Marchs payment on there, we have a letter stating March payment is the only one due issued at beginning of March. so they can't take us to court for payment already made, ps even the summons States they have to send you demand and final notice,

I haven't made any late payments, they are in the wrong I will repeat this they are trying to take us to court for a payment we have already made, payment date was 26 th feb we paid febi on the 12th of feb, we have receipts and their acknowledgment, it was my mistake thinking it was this months because that was the only one outstanding. which Is now due so they can't take us to court for a payment they already have got, and try to charge us for it.
But by law they have to give you the two demands for late payment anyway, which does not apply for feb because that was paid on time, they can't issue you with a summons for a payment they haven't demanded, or is only just due without a demand and final demand. They have to prove to the courts they have sent that out. You don't have to have received them but they have to prove they have been sent, states that on the summons.
We pay our cancel tax over 12 months for past 2 years the first council tax bill has been sent out for 10 months so we have requested they change it to 12 months, because they are always late in replying they changed the dates to the end of each month which is when our payments are due, only a final demand where they cancel instalments can change this. And they can only send out a final demand cancelling instalments if you have missed a payment, we haven't missed a payment and they haven't demanded full instalments only feb payment. We even emailed them to make sure they split the payment up for man and feb and they confirmed that the only payment to be made was the one due at end of March,

Holy moly clairea you just never seem to get any luck. If it were possible to buy a sack of good luck, gift wrap and send, a huge one would be on its way to you from all of us here. Hey Mr God or whatever you call yourself, can you do something about this?

I'm only lucky when it comes to scratch cards for some reason other than that bad luck follows me around. Seriously it's been like that for years, yet i can look at a batch of scratch cards and pic the winning ones ok so not mega big most have won is 500.00 but 99.9% of the time I can pick out a winning ticket if there is one, but I have to be in the zone to do it.

You stated that you hadn't made March's payment which was due on the 23rd as you were waiting until your payday on Monday day so actually you have been late with one payment!
