Unashamedly pinched this idea from the UK vapers forum.
We all like trying new e-liquids and whilst you can buy 5ml samples what about swapping 1ml samples between ourselves?
The bottles in the picture are not too pricey, i'd consider buying them (50 for £6.76) and then if you list what your prepared to swap you could fill one of these bottles with 1 ml of liquid and whoever you are sending it to could send you one back or you could charge a PC sum say 50p to cover post etc. They are small enough to go in an envelope so all you'd need is a stamp.
1 ml would be enough to fill a carto or drip 20 drops in a atomiser. that way you could get an idea of what you liked.
What do you think?

I think this could be a very good idea! my only problem would be finding a way to testing the liquids and I've not managed to successfully clean or change juice always resort to a brand new carto lol

The answer to that stitch would be an empty cartridge and an atomizer just to taste test. Maybe a good idea for some Des, but I couldn't be bothered to be honest. Good luck with it.

an idea Jem came up with which may be worth a whirl we start off with a few of 5ml sample bottles of juice (whatever makes up a large letter for posting) and then send them on to someone who will try out the juices and then pass them on to the next person after replenishing what they have used with a spare sample they dont like from their own collection.... they could if they wish keep one or two as long as they were replaced with alternatives.
this way peeps get to sample a few flavours for less than a quid for a stamp

I think this is a good idea too, I know £3 isn't a great deal of cash, but it's still a waste if you buy a juice you don't like and it just sits there etc.. (I've had one so far like that I'm not very keen on) and I think the option to truly sample a flavour first would be good..
could maybe have like a sample pool too that belongs to the forum (people & vendors *With their name attached for PR etc* can donate a juice to the sample pool and depending on how much juice people trade in, they can try free samples, and for others maybe just pay a small fee of funds to support the forum etc).. sort of thing, hmm, not sure if that would work though...

On second thoughts it could work like this:
You list what sample flavours you have to swap.
You look at what others have as samples.
You PM said person then send the 1ml samples they require.
They use the samples then rinse and refill the bottles with your request and post back to you. Within an agreed time limit (say 1 week).
A sort of PIF for e-liquid.
What do you think?

Hi Des..
That might work too.. hmm
I was wondering about potential health and saftey issues more than anything, ie ,if someone had a nasty cold etc, a way to only need to send the sample once to one person etc.. but then I guess that's not really much of a swap..
having said that, I guess vaping would also detroy any nasties?..
I do think it's a grand idea.. (not sure the logistics of it though) but often I wished there was a way to truly sample a juice (Still do).. and it would sure save on any wastage etc..

???
Not following you about the health and safety issue? We are swapping juices, not cartos?
The logistics are its a 1:1 swap simple as that.

Yeah.. Thats true!.. I was thinking more anything that might be transfered by hand too, but that's probably just me because I used to work with food so I'm a bit weird with stuff like that, but like you said. if it was cartos it would be a different matter.. heh.
I do think it's a great idea!... and your right 1:1 would keep it a lot simpler (less potential for chaos etc)

You would also need to ensure that every bottle sent is labelled at least with the juice name, supplier and liquid strength and preferably a hazard logo. I don't like the idea of unlabelled bottles with juice in being left hanging around anywhere.

I don't like the idea of unlabelled bottles with juice in being left hanging around anywhere. I think we're getting a bit too hung up about this, this is just a swap between people, no money is changing hands. It's a bit like one of your mates giving you a squirt from their bottle to try. It's only going to be enough to fill 1 cartomiser up. Obviously if you are swapping more than one you're going to need to identify it. You can put nic strength, Vendor, flavour details on your swap posting to the forum. Do you really think we need hazard labels and CHIP compliant tops for these? If you do then I suggest we drop the idea.
