I'd like to make some dilutant so I can add it as needed and not have different bottles laying round the worktop as I mix.
If I mix at 30/70 using 72 nic trying to get 7mg strength has anyone any idea what measures of PG/VG/Nic I would need please?

youll need to mix a base at 10 mg to get around 7mg after adding flavous etc.
To get 100ml of 10mg base youll need 14ml of PG 72%nic, 16ml of PG 70ml of VG.
Remember that adding flavours to this mix will slightly raise the PG/VG ratio also.

If I mix at 30/70 using 72 nic trying to get 7mg strength has anyone any idea what measures of PG/VG/Nic I would need please? Well, we need a bit more info to answer..... but.....
If your nic is VG The flavouring you add (later) is at 20% and the 30/70 you refer to, is 30%PG/70%VG then......
Mix 0.97ml of Nic (VG) with 1ml PG and 6.03ml of VG - together. You now have a base that you can add 2ml (20%) of any flavouring too (at a later time).
This will make you a 10ml bottle of 30%PG/70%VG at 7mg strength e-liquid (when the 2ml of flavouring is added).
Does that help?

Thank you frogster, all these figures made my head spin but after reading it a few times it makes complete sense to me now, Yes nic is vg and my 30/70 is 30%pg and 70% vg, I now have a dilutant for 10ml and 100ml, thanks again xxxxxx

As before adding flavours will raise the PG level to around 35/65. You can tweak it if you want to keep the final product at around 30/70.
