Just noticed this rather tidy looking device - Smok XPro M80 - wish I hadn't ordered my MVP2 now.... Don't think that! The Smok might have a little more grunt, but isn't in the same league for build quality. MVP 2s are bulletproof and even if you go on to buy a higher powered device, you'll have a great hassle-free mod as back-up. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using proboards I have to disagree with the statement in bold, 2 totally different mods in comparison, both have great build quality but both are used for different styles of vaping, the M80 is a quality device, build quality is excellent, i have 2 of them. Both great mods in their own right but the MVP 2 can't utilise the new phenomenon of sub-ohming clearo tanks/coils

Sent from my HTC One_M8 using proboards I really hope not, I've got one on the way. The design and build is so similar to the M65 I'd have thought it the same quality wise. ETA: Ninja'd by richo71 Do you have one BrenD?

The MVP 2 is definitely a well built device but is completely useless for sub ohms. I use mine everyday with a kayfun at about 1.5 ish ohms and that suits my needs. Never had any of the Smok xpro range so can't comment, but if richo71 rates them that would give me enough confidence to buy one if I had been considering it.

Well I'd like to thank everyone for all the useful info. I'm glad I'll have the reliable MVP2 to replace my trusty Vision Spinner IIs, however I'm very impressed with the looks and versatility of the Smok mods for not much more cheddar. Sub ohm Vaping wouldn't be a good idea in the car so I'll stick with my Aspire ETs or the iClear 30s with the MVP for out-and-abouting but I will probably invest in the Smok XPro M80 and an Atlantis for when I slip on the Vaping Jacket and Slippers in the evenings.
The 18650s will remain unused (for now).....
