. Greetings all, this is one week old custardy lovechild. The picture shows it much browner than it is. It is Pink really. Should I be concerned I've messed up or is this ok? Smells lovely, when can I have a toke?

Smells lovely, when can I have a toke? Oh they'll be good in a couple of months... Actually most custards improve with age (like the rest of us!) so it's best to give them at least a month if you can resist for that long.

There will be no stopping you now, becks! I'll get a slap for this, as, we all know that custards need a good steep.....but......go for it! You will still have nearly three bottles steeping & it will only get better, enjoy your first mix.

They'll go darker soon. Keep sniffing. The more they infuse, the better the aroma

Becks, my OCD has kicked in & the middle bottle contains more, so needs levelling down to match the others, you HAVE to try it now!

The pink colour is fine becks, as Spikey said, they will start to go darker brown over time.

Jess, omg!!! I hadn't noticed the levels haha I'll sort that pronto! Lairy, Spikey, I will do my best to resist going in early! Luckily, I've got some Mr's Lords here and a bit of custard from Vapercaper which are both lush, trouble is, since trying custard, I'm on 40ml a week. Is I bad?

There's no such thing as a right or wrong amount to be vaping only whatever keeps you away from smoking. Once you've got a stock of steeped liquids, you'll be able to vape 100ml a week if you want to.

I would be tempted to try a bottle each fortnight, taking special care to notice the difference in taste and how it lies on your palate. In the meantime, mix up a couple of 30ml bottles, the sooner the better, and put these away for at least a month for steeping. Then, next weekend, mix up yet more, maybe another 2 x 30ml bottles. If you then mix a month's supply every fortnight, you will soon have suitable stocks to keep you vaping mature juice while allowing the fresher stuff to steep quietly in a cupboard. I currently have about 350ml of custard in various stages of readiness, and really should mix up some more quite soon so I keep ahead of myself

Good morning all, thanks for the above tips, I've taken them onboard. Think I'll let my little mix steep a while before mixing any more. I have a strange pallet and could be the only one not to like CLC! I have bought a hell of a lot of juices in the last 5 months and to be honest I have found most of them disgusting or just bland. Thanks again, I'll keep you posted!
