With the Cobb I am bring I will have to put all the food on at the same time, it needs the lid on to cook properly and if you keep taking it off it won't. I was planing on up to a dozen chicken legs that would take about 45-60 mins to cook so I think I will have to get these myself and marinade them while the oven is heating.

I've changed my mind again! I think it's best to get rolls on the day, at the time, once we know how many roughly will be taking part. I'll grab sauces though beforehand.

I am def up for this, what would you like me to bring other than my food and drink ?

I have only got a cool bag with cool blocks to bring my meat in, will it be ok like that from 11am until the bbq ? Or would I be better off buying stuff when I get there ?

I don't know! The list has gone to pot! I was going to bring a load of rolls but they'll be no good without something in them so best wait til the time. A whip round sounds a good idea and get various stuff?

Sorry I added to my post in the meantime. Yes I personally would prefer a whip round rather than having to cart meat around all day to be honest.

@spikeyfridge I don't know if you've got one of those 99p stores in Stroud (not poundland) but i got some fantastic litre bottles of all sorts of sauces there, not only the obvious but stuff like garlic and chilli, american mustard, barbecue etc, they are cracking sauces for pennies, well 99 pennies!

Steady prr ! Was only going to get tomato and brown sauce! 99p shop red sauce is vile. Bright artificial red, they changed the recipe, you can almost read the E numbers and additives as you squirt it!
