New juice range, new flavours, new price, £2 each delivered

Hi folks - long time no see. Its been a while since I posted on AAEC and hopefully some of you may remember an old face

I wanted to introduce you to our new business, MyVapery (online store) and Ascend Vapour (our juice and concentrate products). We’ve been about a year in the making. It’s been a bumpy ride at every turn, because we’ve been determined to offer the best online shopping experience possible, along with the finest liquids you could possibly hope to taste.

We’re here for the long-haul and have got a great team – a biochemist in charge of liquid manufacturing (one of the best UK facilities), a couple of seasoned mixologists whose liquids have been raved about on VTTV, Lordy (of previous Lordy’s Reviews ‘fame’) and a couple of enthusiastic investors who are passionate vapers.

We’ll talk about the liquids side of things first. We’ve gone ‘above and beyond’ in terms of due diligence, ensuring that all of our concentrate suppliers are able to provide MSDS and GCMS data on everything we use. Surprisingly, this in itself was an uphill struggle, and we were genuinely surprised that one of the biggest concentrate manufacturers was unable to provide this data!
So, we know that all ingredients we use are free of diacetyl, acetoin, acetyl propionyl, lipid containing oils and other parabens and diketones. Despite this knowledge, we’re currently testing our liquids (from fresh mixed, to steeped, to stored at very high and very low temperatures) so we can get, and give, the full picture of what happens to your juice depending on how much care is taken of it.

We’ve been vapers for years and didn’t want DIY-ers to miss out on our great flavours, so this has led to the creation of our concentrates line. Every Ascend Vapour liquid is available as a flavour concentrate, with the exception of our premium juices. That said, our ‘standard’ line begins where most premium juices end!

Some notable favourites in the collection are Baklava (tastes just like the real thing), Jake Daniels (JD & coke), Pastel da Nutter (based on a Portugese dessert) and Smoak, which is the closest to real cigarettes I’ve ever tasted. If you like tobaccos you’ll love Che Fernandez – a dark bold rich European tobacco. In total we’re launching 27 unique flavours and have many more waiting in the wings too.

With MyVapery we really want to offer a B&M store experience in an online environment. We’re still putting our video content together but in time we’ll be full of tutorials, as well as having individual video demonstrations for every item in the store. It’s our aim to offer affordable hardware and cater to the new vaper as well as the veteran, both with our offering and our service. Our RDA offering is a bit slim at the moment but will be bolstered very soon.

Apologies for the length of this ‘hello’! We’re just really excited about what we’ve created and hope you enjoy your time interacting with us as much as you enjoy your time vaping our juice!

Very nice, would be easier to browse though if you didn't have to rollover the pictures to see the names of the products, maybe just have the little description when rolling over with the cursor but the names visible permanently

Thanks for the site feedback - pleased you like. If you view it on mobile/tablet all of the rollover content exists in the page (because, obviously, you can't roll-over on mobile). I'm not sure what the extra effort is? If you were interested in finding out more about a product you'd need to put your mouse on it to click for more details anyway?

We did some pre-launch research and canvassed opinion and in general people prefered the cleaner look that the current layout presents. However, if the general consensus changes we'll address that in due course

It's cool with the mods,rda,tanks etc but with juices/concentrates it's a bit much rolling over every single one to get an idea of what the flavour group is.
Normally the name alone will give you a clue as to whether it's a desert,fruit,tobacco etc type of flavour.

We've launched with 27 flavours. We have many more waiting in the wings. If e-liquid was one big category it would soon become a wall of 'Aaaargh!!!' for customers! Hence the subcategories.

As said above if it annoys you, then for now, there's the option of viewing on mobile/tablet. In due course, depending on wider opinion, we may change the existing layout. We can't change the convention just for one category without applying the convention to all categories... so for the time being, it is what it is I'm afraid

Spot the obvious mistake ... samplers deal on site says it expires on the 18th ... this will be soon changed to 25th

Doh, doh and doh! Apologies for concentrates pricing, this is a data entry error. Basically we enter ex VAT prices behind the scenes and the site adds the VAT. Someone (that would be me) added the price inc. VAT by mistake hence it's so inflated.

Am updating the prices now - please check back shortly.

And as Ash says, the introductory price on samples will be in place until the 25th.

Is Worldpay not good enough for you Blakey? They're the 2nd largest payment provider and handle transactions for Asda & Tesco online, as well as a myriad of card machines in retail stores up and down the country!?
