Oh gawd.... so I'm familiar with ohms law and battery safety, anything else I should know before I fire her up ( apart from put the atty on )

yer if it dont fire for some reason pressing the button harder is not a good idear 
but seriously check why its not firing dont just keep pressing the button ,bad things can happen  
but ive run mechs for about 3 years and never had a prob,but allways used good batts

it looks like an 18650 mod so if you have good batts as long as you stay on or above 0.2 ohms and all set up right you wont end up like that

ALWAYS LOCK THE FIRE BUTTON BEFORE PUTTING IT IN YOUR POCKET  spesh if you running silly low ohms

Just had a twizle and found the lock thanks  I have Samsung 25r 18650 2500mah and another one but can't remember the mah without looking so should be fine just need to have a play about so I know which section to take out to make the battery fit
