I've got a few AW IMR, 18650, 2000mah, batteries lazing around doing nothing from my now sold on mech mods...would these be ok to use in the Kanger Kbox? I usually vape 1.4 ohm coils at around 13W.

Should be safe enough, they have a 10A continuous rating from what i can find, as long as the KBOX can take a nipple top battery i can't see any reason why you shouldn't use it.

You can get a nipple top in a K-Box, it compresses the spring quite tightly but it goes in, I'm using one at the moment

Great, thanks for that, was just a bit confusing, some sites recommend them, others say should be 20 amp batteries. I've also got some Panasonic NCR18650PD, those are 10 amp batteries same as AW's. I'll not be using anything sub ohms so should be fine I guess.

If you're going to be using the upper spectrum of power then you do indeed need a 20+ amp battery If you never intend to go above the 13w then the AW will be fine. Be careful though, it's easy to knock them buttons and raise the power output A decent battery capable of handling the full output demand of the mod would always be preferable
