I get funny looks every time I go into a sandwich shop and ask them to put hot bacon on a cold egg mayo bap... I don't know why, the only thing different to the read made spreads you can buy etc, is that it is full rashers of hot bacon.

Sounded strange but if you like both the ingredients then why not mmm Doner Kebab meat and a pie That works for me Maybe chuck in a saveloy with it

Hey you're a food lover ammer, going for a steak tomoz, usually have a fillet steak, but want to cut back, save some money, what is a sirloin like? Anywhere near as nice? Edit: I should probably explain why I've never had one, when I was younger I was put off steak, by one I had and really hated, I think it was rump, until a couple of years ago I wouldn't eat any steak, then I tried a fillet, and have stuck at that, but they're a bit expensive, so I thought I'd try a sirloin. So now you know.

Alvo All depends on how it's cooked I'm a cremated man myself Which shocks the real meat lovers who love it blue or rare I spent many years of my childhood in a Beefeater or a Berni Inn and rump cooked correctly is good Fillet is always good Ribeye is nice as well Ah the old days of Beefeaters and a fish and chip shop that sold wings of skate The old 80s meal of Pawn Cocktail, Steak and a Black Forest Gateaux washed down with a half bottle of Piersporter or Blue Nun (that's the parents not me ) Now we have e-juice sellers trying to re-create those flavours Not the prawn cocktail or steak obviously

Rib Eye all the way for taste. The GF likes fillet as she has a thing about any fat on meat but I persuaded her to try a nice 28 day matured Rib Eye from M&S recently and she loved it and admitted it had more taste than a fillet.

You shouldn't have a fillet any more the medium rare, I'm told. I think I might be the opposite to you, because I don't really like any meat well cooked, take bacon for instance, I always say, "if a good vet couldn't save it, it's probably over cooked," (don't remember where I got it from) Maybe then, if I try any, I'll like them as long as they're medium or lower.
MMMmmm steak ejuice... good idea for a thread that is, crazy juice flavour ideas.
how about S+E McMuffin juice?

They don't serve rib eye they do rib steak, but I think that is on the bone isn't it, whereas rib eye is not, so different. TITANIC CHALLENGE Can YOU sink The Titanic? approx. 48oz (1360g) uncooked rump steak. Please note that due to its size this steak cannot be cooked ‘well done’. I could try this one

I don't know what happened to the vaping and football discussion - I leave it alone for a bit and we are onto how well done steaks should be btw you need to work on that whuf - I used to like mine incinerated, but if you get good steak and grit your teeth a few times you will find that it really does taste better pink

Dave i'm sure the vaping and footie theme will return As for the pink meat Not for me brown meat always wins If it's chicken/turkey (wings, drumsticks and thighs will always beat breast) Anyway Dave/Alvo more importantly Who's taking the points Thursday night? On a side note realised today that the Hammers are on TV both Good Friday and Easter Monday

Leicester are, of that I have no doubts, if they play anything like they did at the KP stadium then our kids don't stand a chance, not yet anyway, maybe in a year or 2, if we can keep hold of them.
Having said that, its an 'almost' local derby, we are at home, and could (actually should) have a point to prove after last time, so anything could happen. I'll be there, in my usual seat.
Could be a good game, might be a disaster, could go either way.
I just wish they still had Weale between the sticks...
