They'll fit your Riva perfectly Whufc . . . not sure how long they last, as waiting for mine to be delivered as a number of us are. But you can re-wick them if you've a mind to. Video courtesy of Gordy from another thread . . . Thanks Perp Re-wicking probably take me out of my comfort zone not very technically minded. After nearly a week i'm already looking at mods and upgrades This vaping lark certainly grabs you in and makes you want to empty your wallet Looking for something where i can put a bit more juice into the Riva and see what's in there (stop regular top ups) Any suggestions? Still can't believe i'm not smoking and not missing it Mind you i am going to have to get busy on that swap/ and probably (more likely) sale board as i've got juices coming out of everywhere (as the actress said to the Bishop (ohh err ) Apologies for somewhat hijacking your thread Sue :-[

Well whuf if you want to see the liquid you could try one of the versions of the clearomiser or a bud atomiser. For something that holds even more there is the stardust, mentioned above.

I need a new multimeter, only needs to be a really cheap one for this I presume, anyone know where to get the cheapest one from a proper shop, i.e not online. Maplin is the cheapest I can find, think it was £6.99. EDIT: Yes I'm a cheapskate

That's the one I got alvo - works fine. I don't think you will do much better from a shop.

Thanks Dave and Gordy, I think I'm going to send the OH for the maplin one today. I need it today Gordy really, as I wanted to test the loose LR carto before I sent it on with my trade in the classifieds section, aswell as possibly repairing the stardust in the future.

alvo. I might be teaching my grandmother to suck eggs here but when I got mine I knew very little about mm's, but fortunately had seen a bit of guidance that when measuring resistance, the first thing to do is just touch the two prongs together. On mine this gives a reading of 0.5 ohms, so you have to deduct that from any Ohms reading you do on a carto etc.

On mine this gives a reading of 0.5 ohms, so you have to deduct that from any Ohms reading you do on a carto etc. Do you mean to test the resistance already present within the equipment? I did know that, but I may have forgotten, so I appreciate the tip. Until I was laid off last year I was working as an electronic assembler for a company called Pektron, we assembled PCB's to IPC class 3 standards, (one of the reasons I don't want to use some of the mods out there after seeing pictures of their boards, but I won't go into that) Even with experience though, I'm still forgetting a lot and quickly. And I'm always open to learning, so never worry about "teaching someone to suck eggs," because people should appreciate the effort you've gone to to try and teach them something, I know I do.
