@spikeyfridge told me you are all cooing over the Subtank right now. It looks complicated for an evod girl who got stuck in a vape rut. I can see RBA and another head too, differences between the two? How easy is it to recoil? I'm a pretty dab hand at coils but with long nails, if it's fiddly I get annoyed! Is there anything else I should be looking at and considering as well? icon_shoppingm Can I use it on my Vamo too or am I going to have to get a new device as well?

Its easy to do both, rba and standard coils, treat the standard head like you would the protank coils, there are a few guides on here, you wont be disappointed

The sub ohm won't fire on a vamo. I reckon you should get a cloupor

You'll need a 30W device to get the best out of the subtank. It's best when vaped at 20W-30W. Too little power and it doesnt perfrom well, and anything much above 30 and you're in dry hit city. Also, as @spikeyfridge says, you'll want a device that can fire coils from 0.2 or 0.3 ohms and above, your vamo wont be able to go below 1.5 ohms (1.2 ohms for some versions).
A clouper mini, sigeli mini or smowell are some options to pair with the subtank.

The RBA head on the Subtank is just about the easiest head to build on there is, the real bonus though is if you find you're getting flooding or dry hits you can whip the base off and access the head without having to drain the tank to change the wick, something you can't do on most RBA's.

+1 for Get Off My Cloud 's comment above, if you can coil an evod you can coil a subtank (mini) rba I use mine on a cloupor mini at 11 watts with 2.0 ohm coils with the airflow quite tight, some people say it doesn't work that way but it works for me.

depending on what ver of the vamo you have you might only be able to use the 1.5ohm head that comes with it 15 watts is surprising on a subtank and 25 watts is shocking in a good way,so you might be ok with the vamo but i have only used 0.5 heads the coils are easy to recoil (just bloody big evod heads) the rba is a doddle to recoil but wicking it can be a little more fun if you chasing watts and using high vg juice IF BUYING BITS FOR IT REM THERE ARE 3 DIFF SIZES i got wrong ones tbh since i got mine its been my main tank but im still waiting for mr posty to post my goblin if your vamo wont power it at .5 ohms then the clouper is a good buy at£20 or you could look at one of these www.fasttech.com/products/3099/10013490/2279105-kangxin-mini-vf-kx-50d-temperature-control-50w-vwbut wait till they get them in stock 50 watts and working tc

Cloupor is in my basket ready to order, looks like a cool bit of kit for a very good price! My Vamo is a V1 still going strong and I do like using it. Just my last few evods are dying on me, one of them has blue tack around it to stop it leaking haha. Any suggestions of something I can get to go on top from a UK vendor until my cloupor and subtank arrive? Ideally something I can use on both

I use a Nautilus mini on my V5 and my Cloupor collie2011 altho the one on the Vamo is a Fasttech clone as it goes up the yard every night if I haven't got an Evod clean and ready.

Thanks MP PS I suppose i'd better get off my lazy bum and have a look at subtanks, as I said bit out of the vaping loop at mo
