you know I can't think for the life of me what wood it is ! Mines gone blank !!,,,, it is a nice wood to work with , it's an off cut from a gun stock I made few years back . I have got a large piece of America black wood I'm thinking of using but that stuff iv very hard ,

defo be beech if its old gunstock most gunstocks are either walnut or beech looking at the grain pattern in that id say beech a wood i use alot of should finish up nice

Not a happy bunny ???? !! Just belt sanded my box down and gone though the Side wall and the magnets are exposed !!! Dam.......

I'd tried to slim it down , an went to far with it . ill start again and ad magnets once I'm happy with it , little learning curve for me ...

Ouch, I feel your pain oldschoolib, I tried a belt sander that was part of a bench grinder on a aluminium once and found that as the belts are all very course it was no good for mod making.

VE Jason has DNA30's in the clearance section for £20 ATM, some people say the YiHi SX350 is easiest as you don't need up/down buttons, but they are £50, a lot bigger, there is no flexibility on how you mount the screen and only a DOA warranty.
