I am amazed it's not shorting after what I did to it glen

Beginning to go away now after a wee wash. Leaving it to soak for a few minutes as I find jap cotton needs that

Might do another rewick and let it soak (didn't do that just now) and another wee wash

Don't know

All I did after moving the centre post was carefully move the pin back into position

Have done far worse with erikonigins (like completely killed them for taking centre pin out!!!)

Done that plenty of times with centre post, I have found kayfuns have a lot of residue left In them, hope the wee wash sorts it good luck Glen

Now on my kato mini clone. No firing problems. a little heavy but still. .....and my magneto is fine ....final rewick as per above video ....sorted

But I have to remember - the erikonigin takes 7 wraps (as does the taifun gs) of 32g kanthal - the KFL about 10

Don't sub -ohm - get a KFL+ (kayfun lite plus)!!!

I love my lemo 2, it's not a cloud chaser even with a 0.2ohm coil, but the flavours you get are IMO almost the same as a RDA dripper, and that's with a twin coil build ! . It does produce more clouds than say a nautilus but no where near the Atlantis/subtanks, the lemo 2s single coil lasts about 3 times longer than anything else I've used. Simple to just pull the cotton out and new one in, good for another 2-3 days. I do that three times before I have to make a new coil.

Sorted the chemical taste (near enough)

Wee wipe with rubbing alcohol all over and a good rinse

Not just the coil/deck but the whole thing...

Little burnt corner on the deck but doesn't seem to affect the taste (tiniest thing ever!!!)

Loving this KFL+ - other RTA's (apart from erl clones) - please step aside LOL

Hi @johanino . Although i avoided FT when i got my KFL v2 because i was unsure which were good and which were not.

After looking around I wanted an EHpro so got it from USA for about £30

Then for the second i wanted the Hcigar which i got here for about £25

Both are excellent, and never leak or flood.

The EHpro I drilled a larger air-hole. But whether you need to or not is down to you, The Hcigar i left as it came.

Out of the 2 the Hcigar was the best buy as it came with all this...

 


So its a full size KFL, and all the bits to change it to a stumpy KFL(which is how i have it in the pic). Oh and the zippy case.
I've just started using the short KFL to use on a 18500 so it fits in pocket when Im out.

OO a genuine KF....nice one, I hope you got a good deal.

My love for the KF has restarted. After about 8 months of only using the Rose, I got the KF's up and running again. I don't know why stop using them.
Thats the trouble with going from one bit of new gear to the next, you end up 'Boxing' some good stuff, just because you have a new toy.

The Rose had stronger flavor, but the KF produces more vapor, and the flavor difference was only small. Plus its just way too big to be carrying around outside.

Getting a 'stumpy' kit makes the KF more portable as well. Would recomend you keep an eye out for one, its a good size for 18500 MOD.

Ill try and find it for you. I have had to reinstall windows recently and i was using IE so lost all my 'Bookmarks' in the process.
