Another question Do lemos and subtanks need a lot of power? I'm a magneto girl myself - not into high power? Still undecided....Lemo 2 or subtank (will be at least another month before I buy. Got a new budget plan and vape budget is £40 per month LOL) Jane Not necessarily no they don't need a lot of power. With the Lemo or the Subtank RBA you can build the coil to any resistance you like. The problem is though that to achieve the lower resistance a thicker wire is used that means a larger surface area producing vapour and because of the lower resistance in the wire the more power it takes to bring the coils up to temperature. A thinner wire will heat up with less power but you have a smaller surface area producing vapour. These tanks have a more open airflow than something like a Kayfun so if you're using a high resistance coil you're A: not producing as much vapour as you would with a thicker gauge lower resistance coil and B: you're diluting that lesser amount of vapour with more air than you would in something like a Kayfun. To me that is only going to result in a vape with less flavour than you would get from using a lower resistance coil in these types of tank.

Thanks Jane Of a choice between the Subtank or the Lemo i would lean toward the Lemo if you're going to build at a higher resistance because you can close the airflow down a lot tighter than the you can on the Subtank. I'm not sure on the capacity levels of the Kayfun stuff because i don't vape that style of tank, i know there are a bunch of styles available and i'm sure there's probably several that will hold 4ml or more.

The Kayfun V4 with the polycarb tank holds approximately 4 ml. Slightly less with the glass and metal tanks. You can rewick without draining the juice too. Now ive got the build sussed I love mine.

I would go with the lemo personally but I have two of them so bit biased my kayfun collection is now in the hands of friends and family as the lemo was better for me. Easy to build on larger build deck, very forgiving on wicking so easier learning curve and flavour and vapour were better for me then I got off my kayfuns. I also have three subtanks two original 25mm's and a new subtank+ and while the flavour isn't as defined as the lemos for most flavours the subtanks are great and also very easy to use.
Delta 2 would perhaps be another tank to consider and is a very good tank if your just getting into these types of tanks although the improvements weren't enough to make me buy it over the subtank, not including the rba section in the standard package was a big reason i didn't buy it subtanks spoilt me that way lol.

Most of the latest sub ohm tanks are within a hair of each other biggest deciding factor between them will be your personal preference, as for rta's that is more complicated but I like my gear to be as simple as it's owner so the lemo really does fit that bill with the added bonus it performs great. Only you really know how much time and effort you have to put into whatever you purchase and that's the best starting point pick a few read up on them on forums and watch some YouTube review's to try and nail it down to one. Hope you can find the one that suits you best and help is always there .

Im going to have to have a look at some of these new tanks that have appeared since i was last collecting around 8 months ago.
I'm still using the 2 Rose atties i got exclusively. The one from FT had better threads. The flavour is more intense than the 2 Kayfun v2's i had used up until then. I should have a read and think about trying something else, there may be better out there, who knows.

They are designed to be used at high power, with lots of airflow, but you don't have to.
Not got a Lemo, but the Subtanks I, and my wife have can be used at lower wattage if we wish to. Depending on the ohms you want to use, and the size of wire, anything can be done. They are very airy though, so not fantastic for mouth to lung vapes. HTH EDIT Sorry. I missed the replies

Lemo mk1 sounds a good match for you Jane - the V2 is very much a sub ohm device but the original is basically an improved Kayfun with a 5ml tank. Its well made, easy to build on and the airflow can go from pretty tight to fairly airy.
Down sides are its a bit ungainly and 23mm diameter makes it protude on a tube mod
