The school Mr L teaches at, and the same school my nephews go to, have decided that from this year, the boys MUST have logo'd trousers!  That's created a massive drama!

Yep, they've done that with the skirts at their school. My boys don't wear them obviously but I reckon logo trousers will be mandatory next year. They should provide iron on badges

Just the same as when I started at Secondary Modern 54 years ago, blazer, jumper, tie, school badge and house PE kit only available from one shop. Dave

When I was younger I went to France once a year for a month at a time on an exchange. The school the fellow I stayed with had a dress code that you could wear whatever you wanted,but once you got into the building the kids had to wear a grey lab coat over their clothes, cost pennies, all equal!

Don't get me started on schools!!! Damn regs kept my parents poor! Me and bruv went to different gaols schools and had different kit. He had to have football (blue) and P.E. (grey) kit, I had to have rugby (green), football (orange) and P.E. (white), plus his uniform was black with white shirt and mine was blue with grey/pale blue shirt. No hand-me-downs for me (which was a first ), but no hols consequently.

By the way, what time does the Prestleigh kick out? Roscopecotrain ?

Normally when ever people want to stop. I am sure it was 12.30 we left last time.
