HSE Christmas advice (2018 amendment II)
Please be advised that all employees planning to dash through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh, going over the fields and laughing all the way are required to undergo a Risk Assessment addressing the safety of open sleighs.
The assessment must also consider whether it is appropriate to use only one horse for such a venture, particularly where there are multiple passengers. Please note that permission must also be obtained in writing from landowners before their fields may be entered. To avoid offending those not participating in celebrations, we request that laughter is moderate only and not loud enough to be considered a noise nuisance.
Benches, stools and orthopaedic chairs are now available for collection by any shepherds planning or required to watch their flocks at night. While provision has also been made for remote monitoring of flocks by CCTV cameras from a centrally heated shepherd observation hut, all facility users are reminded that an emergency response plan must be submitted to account for known risks to the flocks. The angel of the Lord is additionally reminded that prior to shining his/her glory all around s/he must confirm that all shepherds are wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment to account for the harmful effects of UVA, UVB and the overwhelming effects of Glory
Following last year’s well publicised case, everyone is advised that legislation prohibits any comment with regard to the redness of any part of Mr. R. Reindeer. Further to this, exclusion of Mr. R Reindeer from reindeer games will be considered discriminatory and disciplinary action will be taken against those found guilty of this offence.
While it is acknowledged that gift-bearing is commonly practised in various parts of the world, particularly the Orient, everyone is reminded that the bearing of gifts is subject to Hospitality Guidelines and all gifts must be registered. This applies regardless of the individual, even royal personages. It is particularly noted that direct gifts of currency or gold are specifically precluded under provisions of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Further, caution is advised regarding other common gifts, such as aromatic resins that may initiate allergic reactions.
Finally, for those involved in the recent case of the infant found tucked up in a manger without any crib for a bed, Social Services have been advised and will be arriving shortly. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas – be safe out there.......

Every tinkerer of electronics should have some of that IPA beedee No idea about the pen thingie though Ah, I had not been able to access the link because their site was down, so I had assumed that it was Silicone/Acrylic/Polyeuthethane Conformal Coating (SCC) that @broadblaster had linked to - I already have Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) which I use for lots of little cleaning jobs, it's wonderful for getting off sticky label gunk from juice bottles!, though I orginally got it for cleaning the PC. The pen is a way of applying the SCC which: 'Protects electronics from moisture, corrosion, fungus, thermal shock, and static discharges' - I think the DNA version of the BB already has the chip coated with this or similar stuff, but I've got the 70watt version that does not. Is it a one application material, or do you need to re-apply it at regular intervals?
And, does it actually do what it says?

Just received four mods from FT. Split the order into 4 separates. No issues.
Mods average cost was $40 each. No cells.
Express e-packet.

Working fine now but will only adjust wattage upwards (you can scroll upward to get back to 0), however, I reckon this could be because my reassembly was not that that great. But fingers crossed, it seems to be a fix, so, if someone else has the same problem, this is something to try. The members here who I can remember having a BB are Perpetua , Pepperty and decoy , I'm sure there are others. Well done for your perseverance beedee ! Should the same problem afflict mine, then it'll be lobbed in the bin after being tenderly caressed by one of the few tools I own. You don't get better than an Irish screwdriver Mandy!
Only tool you need

Thanks striker42I have a polished one in a basket somewhere. I'm worried if I buy it, it'll end up unloved for being in my 'useful' hand. If you get my drift.

Thanks dalealanI do like the feel of it, but, it's right handed. If Graham was parting with the polished one I'd be more interested. Any idea if the paint would polish off striker42 ?

I meant to pick your brains on the Ohm boy Rage striker42 , but, you know, vapefest...... Does the TC work either, a, at all, b, temp restricting, c, pretty well I do like it... Sorry Tim, I don't use TC so can't really help you there. No problem Graham. I still might get one though, even if you said the TC was pants. It's a nice mod.
