So ive just been a naughty boy and bought a billet box from focal, always wanted one lol, I know they take 16340 batts but I was told earlier they need to be protected? Im no good with batteries and dont know what to look for so any help will be great, thanks

I have never had one, but a quick gooogle takes me to the originals battery page here, they say protected. I would try ecolux.

Billet Box Requires two 3.7 Volt 16340 batteries. If Li-Ion based batteries are used they must be protected with over discharge circuitry. We recommend AW ICR123 3.7v 750mAh Protected Li-Ion cells. These batteries are readily available
from many E-Cig suppliers

No first hand experience with these mods so I would go by the current manufactures advise.  It implies that the mod does not have no low battery cut off so if you don't use protected batts you need to make sure you do not over-discharge them.

I have not had a BillitBox so just educated guesses, but they regulate how they draw the power so I doubt that over current is a prob, but they do not turn off when the battery get too low and protected batteries have a sort of resettable cut out when you over drain them.  I will tag a couple of know BB users Pepperty ukric and blakey as he owns just about everything worth vaping and knows what's what.

They're good batteries and worth getting
Torchy had some cheaper 16340s that were very good but I don't know whether he has stock.
Be careful where you purchase from, there are a lot of fakes on the market.

Those are the wrong size. He needs 16340's.
