There are no vtc5's, don't trust 'em if they tell you there are. The vt4's are good, the samsung 25r's & the purple efest 30/35amp as a last choice....Never off ebay though except from torchy......... imo TBH when i did get some so called vtc5's last year i couldn't tell them apart from the vtc4 in performance or hours.

so vct 4 first them samsung ? Take your pick, totally your choice but either way you will have good batteries you can trust. The 25r, i only started using them recently & i've had no issues with them. They seem to perform very well & a lot of people are raving about them. That 2 for a tenner deal is legit too. On a side note, i heard that the vtc5 was a re-wrapped 25r ! Re-wrapped by sony.

If you only need 20Amps then the 25R is the better choice - 2500mAh Vs 2100.

Another point worth considering is how the manufacturers spec their cells. I'm not 100% sure about sony, but the samsung cells already include a significant factor of safety in their specs.
They are rated at 22A officially but this includes a 15%-20% FoS (from an internal doc I've managed to see a while back, and seems to be confirmed by testing, hence why torchy rates them 30A). This doesn't mean you can add more to the amperage limit, but it does mean you can work with a smaller headroom with a degree of confidence. In effect this means you can feel safe vaping at 0.2 ohms on both vct4/5 and 25r cells.
I have to state though, only do this with ANY cell if you have experience and knowledge of building coils, of cell safety and of using mods in general. Noone should be sub ohming without understanding the hardware, the risks and the potential modes of failure.
If you don't have the experience or knowledge to sub ohm safely, please dont do it no matter what cell you use.
