I've noticed a mesh disc when I stripped a coil down. What's its purpose?

what coil were you stripping down?
Some have used mesh over the juice inlet holes to control juice flow and prevent flooding.

I've noticed a mesh disc when I stripped a coil down. What's its purpose? To stop the amount of spit back from the ejuice, and also to help prevent any foreign particles from being inhaled

If its in the bvc style head it is meant to stop juice spitting, waste of time.
